    Dear Sir,

The PSU I bought is a HP 226519-001 supply.
These supply can used as a powersupply 48V 57A.
I bought the unit because I like to use it as powersupply for my homemade amplifier who needs 48V.
On the output-connector between the + and the - terminal of the unit are 20small pins for auxilary purpus. I think that On the backplane of the unit a several links are located.

where I am looking for is a schema, diagram or manual who telling me how and wat to connect so that I get 48V on the output.....

If I don't get the information, it seems to me that I bought a pice of trash wath belongs to the waste...

My last hope is that you can help me on the information.
If I have to pay for the information, so it be.
Let me no how match the fee is...

    Kind regards

Wim5377,

I have spoken with HP techs and they assure me that this is not a standard HP product. However, it might have been manufactured for HP for a specialty item. At any rate, they fear that if you use this as a 48 volt linear amp the 57 amps rating will not be enough to keep the power supply from peaking, and in this case it would burn out. They would like to know any more info, such as the serial number, approximate size, and number of leads out if any.

As an alternative, you might consider posting this as a premium chat item, in which case you would pay for your answer, but would be guaranteed success. There are many experts in this field who may know the information you require, and the premium would attract attention much more quickly.

How do you hook up the dynamic linear drive on a kenwood basic m1 power amp to the speakers?

dynamic linear drive refer to the amplifier circuit. How ouput stage a driven.
How to connect speaker refer to sigma drive. its fairly simple, you start whit (for one channel) 4 wires and finish whit 2 at the speaker. (you joint positive together and negative together).

Normaly the feedback loop a closed inside amplifier circuit. Sigma drive give you the possibility to close it at the speaker connector. Doing like this give a better performance from differential amplifier by skipping speaker wire resistance.

I have a linear amp 1600 I ahve power to it but it wont work and what is the remote wire supose to be connected to?

The remote wire is supposed to be connected to the remote output on the back of the head unit that is feeding the amp.
Without the remote wire hook up the amp will not turn on.
Reason for this is, the Head Unit tells the AMP to turn on, without the remote connected the AMP is going to do nothing, find the remote switch wire on the back of your Head Unit and run the wire to the remote input on the AMP.

Power light on the amp goes on after 5 sec off ultra linear 1200

If you run the remote from the battery you will need a on/off switch. Sounds like the amp is overheating. Also, I don't understand bridge the remote and power. They should be seperate going into the amp.
