Question about LG enV3 VX9200 Cell Phone
I live in a rural area and very rarely can I use my LG enV3 phone to make calls from my home. I can, however, use my husband's Motorola Limerick. I can put them side by side and his phone will have 2 bars and mine will have none or maybe 1. I have contacted Verizon twice and they had me do a check or something with the phone and nothing has helped. I've been told that the LG has a much stronger internal antenna so why can't I get better signal strength with this phone? Verizon says that we live 5 miles from the nearest cell tower. Soooooo.....why would two different makes of phones have different signals? Please help....I really like this phone otherwise. Thank you.
That is a common problem. I have had that issue myself. Motorola's pull a better signal in a rural area than LG. I would see if you can do a return exchange for another like phone that is a Motorola. It's the way the phones are made that makes the signal strength different.
