Question about Canon PowerShot A520 Digital Camera
The self-timer mode is not able to be selected
Go to the mode dial put it on Auto, or P, or M then push the funtion button this will bring up a screen that has the self timer selctions on bottom of display screen. click whcih timer you want and push the shutter down and it will take a few seconds and then take picture

Hi . I get this problem too . You need to ensure that the picture setting is Portrait rather than black/white etc as it doesn't work on all modes!
