if you download and install tune up 2010, it may fix your registry automatically for you however if it fails to, your operating system will continue to fail to shutdown or keep causing your system to hang at the f5 window which is the one your describing. Device drivers are very well known for causing this error and if you have installed a new device and your computer is not picking up the new device properly, then the computer will not shut down. There are several forms of viruses that cause the system to stay on, power problems may cause the system to crash during a storm and thus damage the computer registry. A system defragmentation, cleanup, along with a registry clean would be the first best ideas.

HOW DO I IMPUT THAT WE ARE A MOTORHOME

Unfortunately - the only choices for "usage mode" in the nuvi 760 are Automobile, Pedestrian and Bicycle. Check to see if it is not already set to Automobile by touching:

TOOLS -> SETTINGS -> SYSTEM -> USAGE MODE

and select Automobile.

Unable to log in

Hi! You need to access safe mode on the boot options by turning on computer while tapping F8 button. Choose safe mode on boot option, highlight the option by pressing up or down arrow key and press enter key for selecting the highlighted option. Log in you user account. If logging in inside safe mode is successful, you may do instruction below.

Click start button go to all programs click on accessories then system tools and then choose system restore.

You may choose the date before the issue occured to set the settings of the computer to its previous state. This process won't affect any save files on the computer. After doing the step by step procedure given by the system it will prompt you to restart the computer and that should fix the issue.

If you have any questions you leave comment here.

Cheers!

Try the next computer in your school-room's collection of computers.

Report the "dead" computer to the I.T. supervisor, so that it can be repaired.

When turning laptop on the screen is huge and all that comes up is red button with 'turn off' on the screen,no where to log on!!

be careful a virus maybe settling in your system...

and if not...
it would help if your laptop's operating system is windows xp sp1 or sp2 and not the crack versions of windows like sp3 amit i dont recommend such (much better than vista in my opinion)

restart your computer and press del or F2 or to an option to load in to your bios...

set your bios to default...
and right after save and exit from your bios setting

right after that b4 it loads the window xp logo
continually press F7 this will bring you option on to your loading/booting

choose the safe mode
there you will able to go log on to your system...
please set the video setting to the standard ratio; like 960 x 600 or to 1024 x 768 pixel

the apply and press ok... then restart your laptop...

if still doesn't work ill be gladly help you
just e-mail me jealcon_23@yahoo.com

please vote...
