I did oil the motor and the rollers as you recommended it worked great for a few days then it started quiting When you start it it will run for 5 maybe 10 seconds then it sounds as if you were applying brakes and shuts down, I thought nit might be in a bind somewhere so I took the drum out belt off and just the motor alone stops after a few seconds but you can turn the motor shaft by hand, I have replaced so much on this dryer its hard to quit and hard to keep on??
    Thanks a Bunch

I don't work on gas dryers normally but, It may not be your motor making the squealing noise, it is probably your drum rollers making the noise.
You need to lube the shaft of the drum rollers with a good grade of machine oil like 3 in One oil...while you are at it you can lube the motor also if you feel that is necessary...
I would not use WD-40 to lube the motor or drum rollers it does not have the "staying power" that 3 in One oil has and you will be re lubing again soon, also it can creep its way into the motor and cause an electrical short to the motor.

My questain is can you oil or grease the fan motor, it squeels when its running but other than that ot works fine. its a goldstar wg1005r 10,000 BTU unit?

Usually not on these types of units. If it is squealing, it will eventually seize. You could try spraying some wd-40 on the shaft when the motor is running and then turning it off and letting the wd soak for a while. Usually when wd is sprayed on a motor with bad bearings, it will loosen all the gunk up and make the motor louder than before, but I have had kill the squeal a few times. This is an at your own risk type fix as it could make the problem worse. Best option is to buy a new motor or unit. Sometimes the motor will cost a few dollars less than a brand new unit.

My Intermatic T103 Indoor 120-Volt 40-amp timer emits a constant peeping sound

Intermatic T103 is mechanical timer with moving gears.
Timer makes audible sound when tripper clicks on-off, but it should not make constant noise unless gears are causing noise.
Turn off power and spray WD-40 on gears and see if problem continues.
WD-40 vapor is extremely flammable hydrocarbon when sprayed, and should not be sprayed on live electric circuits.
If problem continues, turn off power, pull mechanism out and spray WD-40 on plastic gears of clock motor.

My 90 bronco 5.0 keeps eating sepentine belts. what causes this and when i put a new one one it sqeels loud... whY?

Either tensioner is bad and not putting enough tension on belt or one of the accessories driven are faulty. Best way is to remove belt and try spinning each pulley separately and feel for resistance or rough feel of bearings. Don't forget AC. Check it before removing belt and If your experiencing the squeel more when AC is on, then not enough tension on belt, or AC system should be checked.

It just hums, the fan does not turn.

Make sure the power is off before doing anything. the motor may be clogged with dust, clean it out really good with a blast of air (air can bought at radio shack) get a can of WD-40 and squirt a little on both bearing ends and turn the fan until it feels easy to rotate. make sure no one is near the fan when you turn it on because some of the WD-40 may splash all over. If this does not work you may have to order another motor. http://parts.broan-nutone.com/broan/Shop

I have a 2001 Sonata. I have a squeeling pulley.

It sounds like you have a worn or streched belt making the sqeeling noise. Whenever you turn on a
device in the car that draws a fair amount of voltage
ie. a/c or headlights it will cause increased drag on
the alternator and if you have a loose/worn or glazed
belt, it can slip around the pully making the squeel.
To adjust the alt-a/c belt loosen the mounting bolts
on the tensioner, then use the adjuster bolt behind
the tensioner pully to loosen and tighten the belt.
Be sure to check the belt for cracks bald spots etc.
While the belt is loose spin the pullys to make sure
they all spin freely. Also I would replace the belt just
to be sure. Hope this helps

The blower motor in my 2000 Dakota 3.9L 4X4 is noisy

Don't those irritating little annoying sounds really Pi%)^&^_ss you off. Like a sqeel in the wing window. I wouldn't replace it just yet. Lets try something first. Go under the hood and see if there is a protruding round type casing on the firewall. you can turn the blower on and listen for the humming sqeeking.. It will be there that you may need to take it off too. But why not lets see if you can get some WD 40 in there on it. Let me know if you found it and if you see a way to remove the cover and get some lube on it. Raz

Dishwasher makes squeeling noise when filling with water

if the dishwasher is only filling when u hear the noise it could be a bad water valve or if you are lucky it could be the screen in your water valve is dirty, however if it is filling and washing at the same time and you hear a noise like sqeeling it could be your motor, before u replace the motor. check the water valve or screen on valve may be dirty

Dryer making horrible squeeling noise

this is normally a problem with rollers that have gotten dry bearings , take the drum out check the rollers if they turn hard or act sticky you may clean them up and and oil with turbine oil , do not use wd-40 or 3in 1 as these will dry the bearing, check the idler pulley while you have this apart also oiling it if need be
