Take the middle filter out look into the bottom of the washer and check the impeller on the pump is free IE could be something like a rubber band fouling it.

First try melting the ice with hair dryer. See drain tube going to pan under frig? It can get clogged/frozen with ice. I cleaned mine with very warm water shot out of a water pik. Or u can hair dryer it, then pour warm water on the little pan that holds the drain tube. Be sure that tube is clear for draining.Otherwise, more ice at vents.

When the dehumidifier runs it forms ice on the top of the unit and does not collect much water in the bottom.

The problem you described can be caused by 3 things:

1. The air intake filter is dirty or clogged and needs to be removed and cleaned.

2. The cooling coils are dirty and need to be cleaned. Turn the unit OFF & unplug it before attempting
to clean the coils with warm water and mild dish washing liquid. Then rinse and wipe dry. A light
coating of WD40 will help them stay clean.

3. The dehumidifier is being operated in a basement, where the air temperature at floor level is
below 65 degrees. When this happens dehumidifiers struggle at temps below 65 degrees F
unless it its a Low Temp model, designed for basement applications. Raising the unit up off
the floor onto a sturdy table or counter top, that can hold the weight of the unit, plus a full tank
of water, will generally resolve this problem.

I hope this helps you to troubleshoot & solve the problem. Thanks for choosing FixYa.

Water is staying in the bottom

Water staying in bottom is not a problem unless the dishwasher base is full of it and covers the wash arm.

This means the drain cycle is not working or dishwasher is shutting off before drain cycle.

Try to clean the filters at the base and check drain in kitchen sink side is clear.

Need the model number in case you want more specific instructions.

The tank stays full of water, but the water in the bowl slowly drains out.

Replace valve in bottom of tank.

Better yet for about 130 you can have a 1.6 LF new in box and start saving water.

Hope this tip helps.

Water stays in the bottom of dishwasher after cylcling

If the water is clean and only about an inch deep or less, this is normal and almost every dishwasher keeps some water in the bottom to prevent the seals / gaskets from drying out.

If the water is not clean and there is an odor, please report back here and we can take the next step. Is so, please note approximately how full of left over water the dishwasher is. OK?

Water at bottom of refrigirator

Find the drain line from the freezer to the evaporation pan near the motor. Often the line is visible on the back of the fridge. That line is plugged either with food residue or the collection point in the freezer is solid ice. The self defrost feature melts the frost and drains it to the evap pan. If you remove the floor from the freezer area, you will see the collection point. When the line gets plugged with food, no water drains and then freezes to block the line even worse. So, if there is ice at the collection point, remove it somehow, maybe a hair dryer, and then clear the line by blowing compressed air from the bottom of the drain hose through to the collection point.

Water tank level indicator sinks to the bottom when water tank is full.

Hi,

I think the float is up and down, try to take it out and turn it.

Look at the float in the other tank to see if it is same position, the rounded side should be down.

Let me know if you get it to work.

Best regards

Tank full light stays lit.

Under the water bottle is a drain hole, when the bottle overflows water runs down this hole through a pipe to a reservoir behind the condensor unit, there is a float in this reservoir that rises and clicks a switch that activates the full tank light and stops the machine working,
removing the stopper at the rear and emptying the reservior should do the trick,If the float does not go back down due to dirt in the machine the left hand side panel can be removed by taking off the top then the retaining screws, one inside at the top the rest in the back panel, remove the one screw holding the float switch unit and clean the black float.(Make sure it's not plugged in)
