You have to check the back light of your lcd TV. All lcd screen
have a back light to illuminate the pixels. you can conform is the back
light is faulty or not by watching the lcd screen nearby. Watch can you see any image (negative image) on the screen. you have to look very closely. if you see any image on the screen then the back light or the back light inverter is faulty.
first of all check all the electrolytic capacitors in the power supply
and back light inverter board.If available then replace these capacitors
You have to check the back light inverter board. Normally
in lcd monitors you can see three circuit boards. power supply, mother
board, and the inverter board. If available then try to replace
the inverter board. There are high voltage transformers in this board.
There is a chance for its winding get short. You will not get the
transformer in open market. Try for the inverter board .
Your Sony camcorder has internal hard-disk and records by default to this media. If this is full, you need to offload the recordings and free up some space on the disk. But to select the memory card you can do the following:

Touch the desired recording media.

My i85 camera's lcd no longer displays what you are looking at. Just a black screen. All the menu items are there and working. The battery is charged. The power button is working as well as the lens open, but no image is available just a black screen. When I I try to take pic is showed very low light but doen't show image of pic taken when I check. It is known problem of bad ccd imager in Sony DSC-T1 Cyebershot camera and ccd imager will be replaced. Sony will repair this camera free of cost for ccd imager problem as per announced scheme. You will be charged $20 for shipment. Click Sony CCD Imager Support fro details.
From SP510 camera switched off:
1. Turn dial on top plate to movie mode (selections from the menu screen apply to the mode the camera is set in);
2. Switch on SP510 power;
3. Press "MENU" button on back plate;
4. Select "Camera Menu" from screen if not already on it, using navigation buttons on back plate
5. Scroll down yellow "Camera menu" tabs to microphone picture (below "Digital Zoom"), which may be showing "off". Select OK and toggle yellow tab from "off" to "on", then press OK button.
6. Microphone tab should now show "on".
7. Return to main menu (press MENU button).
8. Return to image screen (press MENU button).
9. Test to see if video now records sound.
10. If is still doesn't record sound, try "reset" from video menu screen (this will reset the movie mode to factory settings, including microphone on).

Power on your camera.
Press the playback button (bottom left with right arrow in a box) to display a picture.
Press the Menu button (top left) to get to the playback menu.
Scroll down to the Delete selection and press OK.
This will show another screen with a choice for Erase all images. Choose this and press OK. - done!
The filename (e.g. DSC0012.jpg) shows the image number, the filespec shows the date and time recorded. Most software will give you document info about resolution of the image. I wouldn't worry about what the battery status was when the shot was taken or how many other images were on the Mstick.
