Weedeater/Edger TE400 throttle wire stuck; trigger broke.

Weedeater/Edger TE400 trigger broke probably due to stuck throttle line. Could use disassembly instructions or diagram showing connection between throttle wire and engine. Parts lists don't show sufficient detail--or maybe it's not worth fixing?

SOURCE: on weedeater blower and vac gas line is broke from

Yes if your asking about the fuel line yes it hooks to the filter out thru the wall of the gas tank straight into the carb. if it broke out side the tank you can try a smaller plastic hose to stick inside to reconnect the two parts. if it broke inside the tank try to replace as one hose.

120' cord. I would go to a big-box store and investigate making your own cord so that you only have 2 ends. 12 guage at the very least. any thing smaller, and you will burn up the motor.

I believe that the trigger and throttle cable should solve your issue.

The tube in the tank is the fuel pickup line and goes directly to the carburetor. You will need to get NEW fuel lines. Fish or shake the old parts out of the fuel tank after draining. Inside the tank will be a small length of smaller diameter fuel line that connects to the small fuel filter and there will be a small nylon line connector that is plugged into the end of the larger diameter fuel line which is the fuel return line from the primer bulb back to the fuel tank. That line ends just inside the fuel tank and is held there by the small nylon line connector. The other line (smaller diameter) needs some length inside the tank so it can flop around as you move the machine enabling it to always pick up fuel. 6" or so is about right from the hole in the bottom (or top) of the tank to the fuel filter. Buy long enough lengths of fuel line that they can be inserted into the tank and pulled thru the fill cap area and then have the parts put back on them and then cut to the correct length from the fuel tank to the carburetor and/or primer bulb. Buy about 1 foot of each size line needed. Small engine repair shops have it and sell it..not expensive.

Ryobi weedeater throttle not working

Check the throttle cable connection at the carburetor throttle linkage, it (cable) may be broken or the carburetor linkage is broke.

Model pp4218 throttle stuck open

I assume you are referring to a pullen pro chain saw. If so, the cable that links from the trigger to the carburetor is stuck. This can happen due to trash and dirt stuck in the trigger area, or the carburetor needs cleaning. Or the cable or wire to the carburetor is bent. See if the connection between the trigger and carb moves freely when not running.

I have a fs 55 stihl weedeater I had it on my fourwheeler and hit a tree with the shaft it broke the trigger release button and caused the trigger to pop out i could still use it until I attempted to put...

in the trigger handle there is a cable that attaches to the throttle. This cable has a ball end (just like a bicycle brake cable). You have probably popped it out when you refitted the lever. split the handle and refit to trigger

How do you replace the fuel filter on a Weedeater PE 550 lawn edger?

You can find replacement fuel filters at a nearby hardware store. Once you have one, fish out the line from inside the tank and fit new filter onto line and place it all back into the tank. You will probably have to back out the tube a little after re-installation.

A Part broke off from my Yardman weedeater YM4570 the part that has two parts and are held by two springs which turns and expands when accelerates

The Yard-Man YM4570 is a nice 4-cycle gas trimmer.

It's hard to tell from your description, but the part you are referring to could possibly be related to the throttle assembly:

Throttle Housing & Trigger Assembly
Part Number: 753-04234

Throttle Trigger Spring
Part Number: 791-182690

You can get the part numbers and Operators Manual at MTD Products... click here:

How to take apart pull rope for weedeater edger

If the recoil is in the front, the engine has to be removed for access to the pull start assm. Start taking the bolts out in the back and work your way forward. Use a coffee can or a large pan to hold the bolts. You will use hex key drivers that are like the allen key sets. The hand grip with the throttle trigger holds the front of the housing. The grip has two coarse threaded cap screws which hold it to the shaft. Before you tear it all down, try shooting some wd40 or similar down in around where the pawls grab the flywheel. Maybe the drum is just stuck against the flywheel and after a little lube will free up and be ok?
