Question about Nikon Coolpix 2500 Digital Camera
You have a fault that is detected only when the camera is in picture mode.
For that reason the camera is still working on Playback mode.
This often happens when there is a lens error, or when the CCD sensor is faulty.
You will still be able to start in playback mode because this parts do not get powered in Pb mode.
The camera must be taken apart and fixed by a technician to correct the fault.
Call Nikon at the number listed on the owners manual to get a quote on repair.
You can also get a quote from a third party repair service here: Advance Camera Repair.
