Trying to find out what the wattage for this oven is model # MAB845SV

it all depends on what you're trying to measure, the wattage used or the wattage output. the handbook will tell you these figures. if you don't have the handbook, you can google for it using the model number and the word manual

There's little to be found on the internet for this model oven now. There should be a name plate / manufacturer's sticker either inside the door - on the jamb; or on the rear near the power cord. If you see a rating given as "120VAC / 1200W" this would indicate INPUT wattage, which would be higher than the amount used for cooking. A typical 1200W rated microwave might have 800 - 1000 Watts of cooking power. If there are 2 ratings for wattage like 120V / 1200W / 850W; the 850 Watts is the amount of cooking power. The cooking power - or wattage - is always lower than the total wattage. If you see a rating somewhere that indicates 900W cooking power, then that would be the cooking power of the oven.

The output wattage is 1100 watts. It can be found on the second page of the operating instruction manual. If you don't have one, you can download it at retrevo.com, just enter the model number and get a pdf of the manual. Hope this helps you.

If the model is a counter top unit, you can check whether there is a plate at the back of the oven with the wattage on it.

The model number on many ranges is located on a plate that is on the frame in front of the right or left front leveling leg of the range. To view this plate, pull the bottom drawer out. On some ranges, the model number plate is located on one side of the oven door opening. You may find it in this location on your range. You may even find the wattage on this label. I checked the wattage for a replacement magnetron and it is rated at 900 watts'

i just checked my R-3A36 manual to find out the wattage. it's 800 watts. i make pralines in my microwave. i am always asked for the recipe. so i needed to be able to tell people the wattage of my oven so they can adjust the recipe to their oven.

According to the owner's manual (page 11) it is 700 watts.
