Question about Vivitar ViviCam 5385 Digital Camera
It sounds like the motor and gear assembly for the zoom is jammed. Your camera processor detects the problem and shuts the camera off in order to protect it from further damage. I would suggest you take it in for repair at an authorized digital camera repair shop. A qualified technician then can further assess the problem and give you some advise as to what would be the best solution for you.
