Question about Motorola Mobility RAZR V3

Battery not staying charged

I have bought a couple of new batteries hoping the first one I bought just wasn't a good one. So, is it possible that it's the charger? My phone only stays charged a few hours.

Re: Battery not staying charged

What kind of reception do you have in your area? If you don't have good reception it can really kill your battery. Is your bluetooth on all the time thats also a battery killer. Those a re the two i see the most in the shop. How much time do you talk on your phone? If you can get more than 2 hrs talk time the phone is actually doing pretty well. Mine straight out of the box only got about 16hrs on a charge. 6 - 8 hrs if i talked a lot!
Anyway there may not be much wrong. Just check your reception and see if your bluetooth is on all the time. Good Luck!

Why won't the battery charge?

3 logical possibilities comes to mind: 1) Battery is faulty. 2) Charger is bad, not connected to an active wall outlet or not making good connection with the tablet. 3) There is a software issue, possibly with the application that shows the battery status.

Iphone 3gs wont charge shows the battery with small red line but can stay like that for days, bought new charger but still the same...cant get apple sign to come up at first I could and phone...

The battery is probably dead. You can locate a repair service who will replace it for you for under $50, or you could do it yourself, it's not very difficult. You can easily find detailed instructions on the web, and the replacement battery costs about $5 on ebay.I found good instructions here, that will give you an idea of whether you want to undertake the repair yourself.

My old 611 dosent hold the battery charge for long even though I have put in a new battery

An in car charger will not charge as well as the mains, when charging for the first time you should use the mains, and charge for at least 8 hours. If it didn't charge correctly, it will be the same low charge all the time, as the battery has a memory that makes it charge the same each time. Try charging from the mains, you might be lucky.

I input my charger into my phone and it says charging but the battery goes down. And wen I take the charger out, it says discharging.

It sounds like the memory of the battery may be faulty,
there are 2 possibilities
1. let the battery go flat completely/discharged and wait for a couple of hours and charge up again, this may help to reset the memory or
2. Change the battery, see if you can take your charger and phone to a store put the new battery in and charge and see if its really a problem with the battery if so then buy a new one,
good luck

Even with a new battery it does not turn on

Hve you carefully checked for the terminal of the battery contact. If not first take a good cleaning solvent and celan and try , check the battery voltage using a good multimeter. The connect your charger and put it on for some time. If the battery has been on shelf for a longer time before you bought it sometimes it would have gone down on its minimum voltage and even got reversed on one of its cells. Jump charging with an external voltage to bring back the volatge will be required as a test if the voltage is low.In this case put the adaapter on so that it stays on charge and brings ht eset back to life. If not you will have to open the set using good tool set and check onthe main pcb fo the battery contacts. If you do not see any fault reassemble for the last time and test or you need to show it to a service shop. Hope you try. Good day.

Battery Won't Stay Charged

well if you have recieved new batteries and they wont stay charged then the problem isn't the batteries apparently. It could possibly be that your charger has gone bad and isn't charging your battery all the way. I suggest buying a new charger and it should fix your problem and if it's not your charger then it must be the outlet supplying voltage to the charger going bad. More than likely you need a new charger cause it seems like its not getting the voltage it needs to charge your phone.

My MOTOKRZR K1 battery/phone will not stay charged very long.

Let ur phone completely die. Don't charge it or anything when the low battery notice comes on. After it completely dies, put it on the charger only until it says charge complete. U might have to do it a few times to get ur battery performing as it should. If you charge ur battery too often, it causes ur battery to swell (weird I know) and your battery starts resisting charge. Hope this helps!! (I used to have the same phone and the same problem. I did this, and now my mom is using the phone and has an exceptional battery time)
