Well you have to check first in which format teh game is,

psp accpets *iso and *cso formats

the game should be in this format for it to work

if it is in this format then the game iso mite be corrupt, OR

U NEED TO MOD (CRACK) FIRMWARE OF UR PSP TO A MANUAL ONE FOR THE GAME TO WORK.

Which format of downloaded game will run at psp??

Hello,

Thank you for using Fixya!

If you have a custom firmware (3.71 m33 or higher) then you can play game that is ISO or CSO format. You can also play games in EBOOT.PHB (PS 1 games converted to PSP).

To play ISO or CSO you need to put the file in the ISO folder in the root of your PSP's memory card. And as for the Ebot.php files you need to put that inside the root folder PSP/Game folder.

Hope this was helpful.

Sincerely,
stif_nec

Problem w/ iso folder?

if you have not converted to a custom firmware, then you will not be able to play iso files. check out pspmod.com, and qj.net for more info about custom firmwares and how to do it.

Can not play CSO, ISO games in firmware 5.5

You need fastloader...
Your folder setting for FASTLOADER should be like this.

Root directory:

+PSP
| |
| +GAME
| |
| +FASTOLADER
| +FASTLOADER%
|
|
+ISO <-- PUT YOUR ISOS THERE
|
+ISOMISK
+ISOSPLIT

the folder settings for UMDEMULATOR V0.8c are like this:

Root directory:

+PSP
| |
| +GAMES
| |
| +UMDEMULATOR
| +UMDEMULATOR%
|
+UMDEMULATOR
|
+ISO <-- Put isos here

No games in my memory stick

If you are using a modded PSP and it sounds like you are, you need to make sure that you are putting your CSO's/ISO's into a foulder labled ISO.  To do this if you haven't already is as soon as you hook the PSP to the computer on the main screen with all the folders you need to create a new folder and lable it ISO.  You then place all the ISO's / CSO's in to this folder.  After you have done this unplug the PSP from the computer and go to the game tab.  At the bottom is a tab that says memory stick you will then click on that and you will see all of your games if not it does not hurt to mod it again.

Help me pls read!!!!!!!

May be you have placed the game wrong..
ISO and CSO should go in the x:\ISO folder in the root directory. In the same level where x:\PSP folder is at. If you dont have an ISO folder just make one. Also take note that unless your PSP has a custom firmware installed you can't play pirated games.
Video files should be located in the x:\VIDEO folder.
Mp3 are placed in the x:\MUSIC folder
images are placed in the x:\PICTURE folder.

Psp won't read games

If you can't read ISO/CSO Files, that either means that you didn't download correctly or that you didn't place them in the ISO folder of your memory stick. If you can't play UMD games and you have custom firmware, make sure "execute boot.bin" and plain modules" are disabled under the recovery menu. If you have official firmware, you can't play ISO/CSO games unless you have Devhook. If you have official firmware and you can't read UMD games, then it's probably your lens.
