I have a toshiba tv model 42xv545u that has no power. No standby lights, no fan nothing. I checked the fuses and they are good. What now

maybe the dog chewed the power cord... It is probably the main board, probably cheaper to get a new telly than try and get it fixed.

Flat screen tv stuck on standby

Low power output problem. Open the back cover. Look for the power supply board. Look for faulty capacitors. If found replace all the caps at the output area and test. Should work

I have a Insignia NS-L32Q-10A that will not power on. Now power on light or standby. I have replaced the power supply already. All caps look good and fuses check OK. What next???

ok, when you plug in the set, does the power light come on? Assuming you ordered a power supply in good working order, you may very well have a faulty main board. The power supply produces standby power that the main board uses to power the standby/power on light. Your main board also uses the standby power to provide the "ON" signal to turn on the rest of the power supply.

I have a toshiba 32wlt68 stuck in standby help!!

At least you have the 5vdc standby circuit working, the controller board may not be sending the ON command to the main power supply, or the main power supply itself is bad. Look at the main power supply module first for burnt parts, bad capacitors.

No power

Do you get any indicator lights at all? If you do, the at least the 5v standby circuit is still working. Check the power supply fuse first, then look for 5v standby voltage, if you do have the 5V, then the problem can be in the controller board not sending the ON command to the main power supply when the power switch is activated, OR the main power supply is bad. Look for bad capacitors or bad/burnt parts.

It seems like my toshiba goes into, stanby... i plug it up, and the standby light just flashes.. for a while, and then it stops until i unplug it and plug it back up... it will not come on...

Its like its in standby mold..

Does it need a new lamp..

I looked at the lamp, and it look like it was ok, but i did notice something they may look like bubbles, or something inside, im not sure though...
