Question about Mitsubishi WD-73732 73" Television
Thanks for using FixYa. Pleasecheck if the connections of the bulb are not loose and wires are not cut fromplaces. If the wires are fine then make sure that there is no spilled plasmaon the board. If that is not the issue, then you’ll need to check theconvergence ICs (STK IC). There are two ICs located on the D Board of the TVand there are two Pico Fuses near them (they look like small resistors). TheseICs and fuses will cost you around $40-50. For replacing the STK ICs alsoreplace these fuses. Please see the link for how to replace the STK ICs. You’llneed to use soldering iron to de solder and solder these parts.
Note--Please make sure to turn off and unplug the TV for at least 1 hour(this will drain off current from all components especially capacitors) beforeyou perform any repairs. Also note that the TV consists of very high voltageseven when it is in OFF condition.
Please doaccept the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for furtherassistance.
