1.Reset IE and check plugins ->Internet Explorer - Reset
2.Delete browsing history: Tools > Delete Browsing History > Delete All
3. Try reset winsock:

run cmd.exe with administrative previlliges and type

netsh winsock reset
+restart

It could be also caused by some malwares...Run full system scan as well from your antivirus software.

Hi,
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Assert in LSP original==reinterpret_cast (instance->org-startup-) Assertion failed capturelsp olspwsp_patches. cpp:202 How do I fixs this ?

An 'ASSERT' is a test, coded in some programming-languages,
e.g., the 'CPP' ("C-Plus-Plus") language, to say "if some-condition1 equals some-condition2 then continue to run this program", e.g., 'ASSERT X+Y = Z'.

If the logical-condition is false (e.g., X=1 and Y=2 and Z=99),
then you get an "assert-failure", and the program halts itself.

Now, why you get that condition, and what LSP (Layered Service Provider) has to due with apparently trying to install a security-patch downloaded from Microsoft, is another question.

Call Microsoft: 1-866-PC-SAFETY if you were installing a security-patch, and they, for free, will troubleshoot.

Apparently this is a problem with google desktop. If google desktop is installed, remove it, this should solve your problem.

Assert in lsp g_socket_data.lookup

Sounds like a program error in internet explorer. Simplest way to fix this is use a new browser. Go to google and type "Download google chrome". Its safer, faster, and in the URL bar you can type any combination of words or letters and it automatically starts a google search- very handy if you ask me. Hope it works for you!

Assert in LSP

The reinterpret_cast operator can be used for conversions such as char* to int*, or One_class* to Unrelated_class*, which are inherently unsafe.
The result of a reinterpret_cast cannot safely be used for anything other than being cast back to its original type. Other uses are, at best, nonportable

Do you have google desktop? If so you need to uninstall it and this should relieve the problem. You have a compatability issue.

M$ Internet Exploder 7 shuts down: Assert in LSP error popup

Your google desktop add-on is causing the problem. Try to start IE7 without add-ons. Right Click your IE7 Icon and start without add-ons, or go:

Start | All Programs | Accessories | System Tools | Internet
Explorer (No Add-ons)

Or type in this command at Start > Run

iexplore.exe -extoff

This will start IE7 without all the toolbars or add-ons that you can download or add to your Internet Explorer.

Go to Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel and uninstall the Google Toolbars/Desktop programs then try to start IE7 normally again.

IE7 - NOT RESPONDED

Internet Explorer has too many problems with it so i will give you the address for Mozilla FireFox, a more trusted and better internet browser program

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/ (Copy and Paste or Type into Address bar)

Simply click to download and install, it will take all setting from Internet Explorer if you choose to so you wont notice much difference, except that FireFox will work

Hope This Helps
