Question about Toshiba Satellite A105 Notebook
I'm not really sure what you are asking. If you see an option on startup that says something like press f11 or something for system recovery, then you can recover from the recovery partition--assuming there is one.
You can probably order a recovery CD or DVD from Toshiba, also.

Testimonial: "thanks for the info. most pc,s have a destructive recovery option to restore them to factory spec's. not this one though. i,ll have to order recovery"
I have a Toshiba Satellite S305-5955. In the Start menu under all programs, in the "TOSHIBA" folder, there is a subfolder called "Recovery". Toshiba has made it easy to reinstall any program that originally came with your computer. Check these folders out.
