Pioneer VSX-45TX turning itself off

Anywhere from immediately to a few mintues after I start playing audio through the unit, it will turn itself off. I have had this unit for several years and have not changed speakers and/or configuration. Troubleshooting guide suggest lowering the 63hz and 125hz equalizer levels. Lowered them by 1db but no change. Tried running the Auto Setting for the Surround setup but the unit turns itself off as soon as the test tones begin.

Pioneer VSX-D509S keeps shutting off

Aside from any intrinsic problem with your receiver, the usual suspects are;
1) Poor receiver ventilation. 2) Very high levels of bass. 3) Shorts in the speaker wiring. 4) A rubbing loudspeaker voice coil.

Pioneer VSX-D411 receiver "Amp Error" message

Hello,
Unfortunatelly your receiver has failed. The front panel is telling you one of the power modules is probably bad. Not an DIY type of repair. These parts are near $40.00, plus cost of replacing.
Look at options to replace your trusted receiver with a new one.
Good luck

I turn on receiver Pioneer vsx d608, then few seconds later screen flashes "poweroff", then shuts off by itself

Check all speaker wiring for shorts. If nothing is found, unit obviously has circuit problems, have serviced.
