-Pull out your hose from the hose port, and it should be ready to go. If it is not sucking, then perhaps you have an obstruction in you hose. On the back of the cleaner where the hose attaches, you can squeeze the two tabs and the hose will release and you can check it for clogs. One easy way to tell, run the machine with the hose plugged in the hose port. Listen to the sound then take out the hose and listen. If there is a sound of release of air that is significant, then you have a clog in your lower duct hose(the hose that comes out of the lower half of the vacuum. You can usually remove this type of blockage from the underneath where the roller brush is, fairly easily. If it is in your hose, then you can try shaking it out. Sometimes you can see the clog and remove it easily. I am not sure if this was your problem I think maybe it is because there is not anything special to use the hose attachment.

The handle that switches the vacuum from floor to hose will not go over to floor on dial., will only go about 1/2 of the way past hose setting.

you may have something jammed in the selector there. Such as a pen/pencil that is not blocking the airflow but is blocking the selector from turning. you should be able to remove the hose from the bottom of the unit there and look down inside to where the selector is and remove whatever is in there.

Good luck.

There is no suction from the head on the floor. The hose is sucking properly but not the floor brush. I have checked for blockages and can't find anything - any ideas?

I have exactly the same problem!
i think it is something to do with the transfer hose that changes the suction from the hose to the brushes ( it is at the bottom left of the machine as you look at it from the front!

Eureka capture bagless clogs in the hose with little to no suction power

you can clean out the hose but you will also have to change your filter to get better suction

Capture bagless not sucking!

Both ends of the hose will unscrew, allowing you to push out hair and fiber clogs with a broomhandle. There is a coarse filter above the dustcup which will release with a 1/4 turn counterclockwise, allowing you to remove the hair and fiber bundles trapped in the inlet. The filter below the dustcup also tends to clog. Anything more and you have to start getting out the hand tools. bgovan445@live.com

Vacuum head is not staying flat

Hi.

Try changing the short transparant hose under the machine.
Or try removing the hose & reffiting it acts like a spring pivoting the head pushing it flat to the floor.
