You should be able to locate a screw that will fit at a hardware store or fastener company. If you want the same finish as the original, contact Garmin Support and they should be able to help you out. Garmin Support can be reached by your preferred method, below:

http://www.garmin.com/garmin/cms/site/us/support/

I hope this helps!

Removing the belt clip from old battery back

This is no fun, we agree. You will need to slip a thin standard screw driver tip between the radio housing and the small metal keeper at the top of the belt clip where it attaches to the radio. Then gently pry the metal keeper toward the belt clip. The belt clip assembly complete with clip will slide upward and off the radio. Sometimes you will need to bump the bottom of the belt clip on the edge of a table or counter top while using the screwdriver method described to get the clip to slide.

Best regards.

How do i change the belt on my kenmore model 70 washer

Unplug the machine. Pull out the lint screen and remove the two screws located under the lint screen. Slide a putty knife between the top and front of the machine about 2" in from each side and push the spring clip in and lift up the top. There are two screws (one on either side) insde the machine about 5" down from the top that hold the front of the cabinet on. Undo these screws, disconnect the door switch harness and gently pull the front toward you and pull up, releasing the bottom of the front panel from the bottom clips. Set the front panel aside. Remove the old belt. Place the new belt around the tub and through the middle of the belt tensioner (idler) and on to the motor pulley. Reassemble the cabinet front, attach door switch harness, attach screws, reposition top, relpace screws and insert lint filter. Plug in machine and test. Hope that helps

Install dyer belt MAYTAG

Hello there
Here is a detailed instruction for you ok
  1. Remove the two screws that hold the control console to the dryer; they are located on each end of the console. Turn the control console forward onto its face. Disconnect the wiring harness from the dryer to the console. Press in on the locking tab and pull the connectors apart. Set the control panel out of your work area. To remove the top, insert a putty knife between the front and top panels. Locate the retaining clip and push in on it to release the corner of the top panel. Lift up on the corner and release the opposite retaining clip. Set the top panel out of the way. Two screws that attach the front panel to the sides are located at the top corners. Remove the screws and swing the top of the front panel out so that you can access the door switch wiring harness. Disconnect the wiring harness from the door switch and lift the front panel away from the dryer.
  2. Replace the Belt
  3. Locate the idler pulley by reaching behind the drum and motor assembly. Using your hand, push the idler pulley to the left to release tension on the belt2.gif. Notice the routing of the belt around the motor and idler arm for reference when attaching the new belt. Remove the belt from the motor pulley. Lift up on the drum slightly and remove the belt from the drum.

With the rib side pointed inward, lift the drum up and set the belt around the drum. Route the belt through the motor pulley and idler pulley. Pull the idler pulley to the right to reapply tension to the belt. ok?
  4. not too hard
  5. hope this is verry helpful for you
  6. Best regards MIke

A fixed safe way to carry a Garmin GPS on a horse?

You can purchase a neoprene pouch with clear plastic front screen which has a belt clip on it. It's made by Garmin. Check your local Garmin dealer. It's very secure and I've never lost mine yet.

Hose is clogged, can't remove hose.

hello,i have a 2996AVS,i have worked on many vacuums like this,if you look down on the top cover where the wheel height knob is,on the far left & far right side's there is a chrome phillips head screw on each side, remove these two screws, the top cover will lift off, just pull up on the back part of the cover and it will lift off, then you can see where the hose attaches, there is a small slot where the hose clips in,use a small flat head screwdriver or pocket knife and insert it in the slot, there is a raised lip on the hose you can see, slide the driver in the slot right on top of this raised lip and slide the small screw driver in until it is under the slot, this will pry up the slot and you can pull out the hose from there,on the rear of vacuum there is a clear plastic attaching cup that locks the hose to the unit, just squeeze the two clips together and pull and this section will come off, then you can clean out end to end of hose, just line them up and push them back in when your done, then reinstall top cover and tighten screws, also check your belt why you have the cover off,it it ffeel's loose or hardened,or slick and shiny on inside of belt, this will cause thr roller brush to slow down or stop ,hope this helps you. r.man

Hp printer cartridges not moving

just finished taking mine apart 3hrs!!! ok cartridge not moving cause there's a little clip that's attached to a biger clip that's attached to the metal long rod in which the cartridge moves on top of got loose from the belt or just came of from the bigger clip.
now the little clip on mine came of and luckily i found it inside the printer.
steps:
1-took out about 10 screws to take cover off.(some sides snap off after removing screws)
2- remove 4-5 screws on top which holds a metal long slim frame on TOP of cartridge.
3- remove 2-3 screws from left side (facing back of printer) from the metal thin "ROD" on which the cartridges slide on top of.
4- lift up that rod and slide cartridge to left, mine didn't came out completely but enough to be able to work behind it.
5- if the little clip came off (and hopefully u found it)then reattach it to the belt.
6- take out the belt from right side, connect it again to the little clip, reconnect the little clip to the big clip, put back belt, big clip etc.
7- u have to play around a little to figure out how the clips go together and where exactly the belt goes.
GOOD LUCK cause i had 2 figure it out solo but finally finished w/ hands full of ink!!!

Garmin gps60 connected to PC

You have the USB cable but what software? Have you got the MapSource CD? If not, there's a free and legal workaround. Download the free Garmin Training Center (from Garmin site), open it to check it works, close it then download the Mapsource update file, also from Garmin site. You'll now have MapSource and can uninstall Training Center. You'll need maps though - depending where you are there's some free maps otherwise get a Garmin map to make it easier to plan trips.
