Question about Avaya Merlin Magix Handset 3810 TransTalk Phone
I have a brand new 3810 wireless phone. It's charged and plugged in. When you try to dial, it flashes 'acquiring link' and nothing happens. What could be causing this? I've matched the id on the base and phone. Both have power. I've confirmed that the phone line is plugged in.
Probably the SN on the handset and base module dont match if that is the case call Drew Telecom at (269) 685-5400 ask for Andy to get a quote to match the handset to the base. We handle these issues all the time and can reprogram the IC on the handset and base to match up again.

If it is brancd new, talk to the distributor. THEy will be able to get a replacement. If bought on ebay or off the internet, you will now find why that is a pain in the buttocks.
