F05 fault after replacing brushes

F05 - NTC failure (SC/OC)
All appliances managed by the electronics measure the temperature using a thermistors. These thermistors changes resistance depending on the temperature. There are two kinds of thermistors, NTC and PTC.
NTC has a negative temperature coefficient which means that with increasing temperature the resistance decreasing (used in washing machine, dishwasher, dryer, refrigerator....etc).
PTC has a positive temperature coefficient which means that with increasing temperature the resistance increasing (used in oven, refrigerator for starting compressor...etc).
If you look in the table below, it is clear that the resistance value of 100 ohm means that is NTC faulty. So, I really do not understand how it is possible that the resistance increases with temperature?

Resistance of NTC depending on temperature
0 °C 35.9 kohm
30 °C 9.8 kohm
40 °C 6.6 kohm
50 °C 4.6 kohm
60 °C 3.2 kohm
70 °C 2.3 kohm
95 °C 1.1 kohm

FRIGIDAIRE DISHWASHER KEEPS COMING UP WITH CODE HD. WHAT DOES IT MEAN

It's possible that the code is "HO", not "HD" --

This is the notification that the unit is in a heat delay to allow the water to increase in temperature.

No component to be replaced, but recommend the homeowner check the incoming water temperature and run the faucet before starting the cycle.

1998 nissan maxima runs hot, replaced the thermostat and at times gauge still register hot, what else could cause this?

Its possible that your problem also stay in the Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor resistance changes in response to engine coolant temperature.

Keep in mindthat the sensor resistance decreases as coolant temperature increases. This provides a reference signal, which indicates engine coolant temperature, to the ECM.

How to increase temperature on model BCM120. The coffee is not hot enough after brewing. Is it possible to increase the temperature on the thermostat.

There is no temperature adjustment for the heating element under the carafe.
The Instruction Manual says:

If coffee is too cold, machine not preheated, cups not preheated, milk not heated enough (if making a cappuccino or latté)

Reduced flow of hot water through the coffee brewing head and increased noise level from the pump. Both pressure and temperature too low for espresso

Check screen and diffuser for blockage, backwash machine. If you still have the noise problem, when runnig the head, then it is block at the solenoid. For the temperature, it is possible that the one of the thermostat is damaged.

Cloths stink, towels not soft. Can I increase the amount of water used per cycle? How? thanks, jim maxwell

Make sure there are no leaks from the machine. Look behind it and check the water inlet hose and connectors for any damage. Also look under the machine for any water as this may indicate a leak from the internal hose and pipe work and / or water pump. Also check that the outlet hose and door rubber is completely clear of debris and soap scum build up and check that the filter is clean.

You can initially use a bathroom mould and bacteria cleaner to get rid of the immediate problem or wash using a bleach solution made up from 1 part household bleach to 10 parts water. Place this in an aerosol spray bottle and spray the affected area and leave for 10 mins then wipe away and rinse with clean water.

  1. To keep the machine clean of waste or mould build up and to keep any bad odours away
  2. Remove all items from the washer.
  3. Open the dispenser drawer and 2/3 cup (160 mL) of liquid chlorine bleach to the bleach compartment. DO NOT use more than 2/3 cup (160mL) of bleach per cycle as this will lead to product damage.
  4. Close the washer door and dispenser drawer.
  5. Select the Clean Washer cycle or a full wash cotton 104 F wash (40 C). DO NOT use any higher temperature as this will cause unnecessary fumes
  6. Press Start and allow cycle to complete.
  7. After the cycle is complete, leave the door open slightly to allow ventilation and drying of the washer interior.
  8. Repeat the cleaning procedure monthly
Also from your description it sounds as though you need to use a water softener (washing soda) or use slightly more deteregent and possibly more fabric conditioner inthe wash. Also washing performance can be increased by using slightly higer temperatures and / or a bilogical detergent.

Erratic water flow and temperature from laundry tub faucet..

this is quite possible, the newer units, actually are monitering teh watertemp, as it enters machine, and will either increase or decrease flow of both hot/cold water to maintain what it would consider an optimal temp.. so i would not worry about this issue.

The clean pump light comes on after a wash cycle or spin cycle

The Air Chamber for the Pressure Switch was blocked with liquid detergent and grease.
When I examined the machine I could see that the underside of the drum, plumbing and door seal was contaminated with mould, liquid detergent and grease.
This problem is thought to be caused by using a low temperature wash and a liquid detergent without bleach. This problem can be prevented by cleaning the washing machine once a month with 50grms of Soda crystals or one cup of distilled white Vinegar using the hottest wash cycle. Do not put clothes into the machine during this wash.
