You can set the white balance so when your outside you can tone the brightness and visa versa for night. it should be in the setting of camera menu

Trying to take a picture outside, when I've taken it, the image is all white. Why is that?

This problem may occur if camera got too much bright inside the lens. Try to turn off the flash light and try to avoid taking picture in front of direct light, sun or lamp.

My camera takes good pictures when taken inside, but when I take pictures outside the pictures come out white, why is this?

Same problem with me. I think it's to do with the lens shutter and exposure time. My camera is pretty old but works fine APART from that. I'll just be taking lots of night shots till I know what's wrong good luck :)

Pictures come out white?

This is indeed a bad autofocus that is causing the issue, your going to need to bring that into a camera shop and have it looked at. Now sometimes they can go into the camera and fix sometimes its a done deal. But that is what your going to need to do to take care of this issue.

Thanks and please do leave postive feedback and ratings for your free answer.

I take pictures inside a car of people and sometimes the pic come in good and sometime not what is the best setting iso

Hi there, and thanks for coming to FixYa.

The ISO setting determines how sensitive your camera's image sensor is to light.
General rule of thumb...the lighter your surroundings are - the lower your ISO. So, depending on how bright the light is outside your car when you take the picture, use this:
If it's overcast 600 to 800 ISO.
If it's really sunny then us 200 to 400 ISO
If it's dark out then only use 1600 ISO

You should experiment with these ISO settings, you may have to notch it up or down depending on the light outside.

It may be due to domestic lighting.Light-bulbs give off waves in the orange spectrum whereas flourescent tubes cast a greenish hue.
