Question about Accessories Alarm Siren

Alarm in a 2004 Ford Escape

How can I turn off the alarm? The vehicle is unlocked and drivable, yet the alarm keeps going. It will stop after about 2-3 minutes, but when you get out of the car, it starts up again. I only have one key FOB, and have tried everything on it (lock, unlock, the aux, and every combination thereof) as well as trying locking and unlocking from the inside. Also, how can I avoid this in the future? Please advise.

Not a complete solution but something to try .Using the key lock and unlock the vehicle from the drivers door .Some models in UK have an arm switch on the lock barrel in the door which sticks.

2004 escape oem alarm goes off when you start the car.

My problem started after a low battery also. It is a different problem than yours but it might solve your problem. Here is my solution. I believe it's worth a try for the price. All signs point to the Accessory Relay (NOT the Accessory Delay Relay). I replaced the Accessory Relay (Standard Part V13081 RY612). It cost me $15.61 with tax. On the 2004 Ford Escape, it is just to the right of the fuses in the fuse box by the driver's side seat. Three days and all good so far. It is well worth the price to see if this works for you like it worked for me.

Ford escape alarm

IF you disconnected the battery then the program may be corrupted , Use a scanner to reset the CPU program and go from there. You do not have to start the car to check for damage . Just have a compression test done

My ford mondeo lx petrol 98' alarm goes off, sometimes more than once i have to keep going to the parking lot to open and close the door only for the alarm to stop but after some time it goes off again.

Your problem is most likely the central locking / alram switch fitted aroun the door lock inside the door void. Try using the passenger door to lock / unlock. If this stops the alarm triggering then you need to replace the switch behind the lock in the drivers door.

My 2008 Ford Escape has power. Lights work, wipers, everything works that has power but when I try to turn the key to start it nothing happens. I mean I don't even hear a clicking noise

Check the relays and fuses in the Power Distribution box under the hood. If all are good check the Alarm circuit ignition kill switch. If you didn't get the Alarm built into the vehicle but had it installed after you bought it remove the fuse from the Alarm power line to disable the kill switch. I did have this problem once and it turned out to be the battery on mine, a 2005 with Alarm built in. Unless you have the Hybrid version you could get in 2008 the vehicles are basically the same.

Turn key on and now no dash lites as usual but a flashing lock and no crank in start position. battery was discnnected for service and reconnected, the alarm horn sounds too.

The vehicle alarm system needs a reset......can be done by most mobile alarm companies or it will have to go to the ford dealer.
