Question about La Marzocco Linea Series Group 3 Espresso Machine Espresso Machine

Tripped Circuits I have a 3 group linea and (only during high volume times) our machine trips the Circuit breaker. Could this be a machine issue or only external wiring.

Is the machine on a 20Amp or 30Amp circuit. If 20 then change it to a 30 amp circuit. That should provide enough power for the machine.

Rancilio silvia trips circuit breaker

There is an electrical short within the machine, ...don't doubt it - the results of your experiments prove that it has an electrical fault and that your tripping circuits are doing exactly what they should to keep you and your property safe.
The machine needs servicing by a registered Rancilio electrician, don't go inside yourself, its highly likely that the part causing the tripping is dangerous and will need to be replaced.

Cup warmer blows the fuse

This is for sure a short within the unit and also can be related to a leak within the heater unit as this can be the reason that the circuit trips off. So you need to check the continuity to confirm the short.

Currently have this refridgerator which has been under warranty with the vendor we purchased it from. In the past 2 months, we have replaced two of them as the compressor keeps going. All appliances...

Julie - this does sound very strange. It is highly unlikely that all your appliances are on one circuit. In the U.S. (and every other developed country) there are standards for wiring. Refrigerators, along with other major kitchen appliances such as dishwashers, microwave ovens, trash compactors, garbage disposals, etc. require separate and dedicated circuits. That is: these circuits are not shared with other plugs or appliances. This is largely because of the amount of power each requires. Most home lighting and outlet wiring is geared to 15 and 20 amp circuits (except for dryers, ranges, etc.) and having more than one of these appliances on one circuit would cause fuses to open or circuit breakers to trip.

The issue is probably a power quality problem. Voltages that are too high or low, open or split neutrals, poor connections at receptacle terminal screws or even the receptacle slots that grip the prongs of the plug - are all common sources of power quality problems. You should measure the voltage on this circuit (and others) to be sure it is what it should be. If unable to do this, you should contact your electric utility or qualified electrician to do it for you.

I hope this helps!

Trips on power up

It has a short circuit on the final steps of the outputs, maybe the common called "final transistors or power amplification IC (integrated Circuits)"are blown. You don't have the ability to resolve this problem, so take the unit to a facility authorized repair.

Two 15 amp arc fault breakers installed on two adjacent circuits. One works fine - does not trip. The afi breaker beside it trips as soon as it is flipped on. We tried switching circuits, but both circuits...

It's possible that the first breaker that you said does not trip - it could be that breaker is failing to trip on a bad circuit. That is, it could be you have a bad circuit but that first breaker is not detecting it and pretends everything is OK. If your new breaker trips on the first breaker's circuit, the curcuit it probably bad and the breaker in not working properly. The most common problem for failed circuits is a stray ground wire in a box somewhere in the curcuit resting against a hot or neutral wire. You'll have to take apart every connection on that curcuit to find it. Not fun.

LA Marzocco group 2 machine trips 30 amp breaker

This is going to take a while because I have so many qusetions.
1- Check the external pump to make sure it is connected correctly. If neccessary also check water lines just loosen the slightly to make sure you have water flow.
2- Do you have water in the boiler? check sight glass. If no, remove vent valve and fill machine from top, until you see water in the sight glass.
3- The main switch is a 2 position switch, meaning you have off-fill-on. When turning the machine on only go one turn to the right until the autofill stops running. (this turns on the autofill which in turn sends power to the pump).
4- Check the wires at the element to see if they are damaged.
5- Check the autofill solenoid, it may not be operating properly.

3-pole 60 Amp Circuit Breaker is tripped and won't reset.

When this breaker tripped, it did not go fully to off. Push the breaker all the way off and then all the way to on. It should be fine. If not manually push it to full off once again and then back on. If both attempts fail the breaker will have to be replaced. good luck.

Circuit breaker on laundry circuit has started to trip

if the machines are both on the same outlet i would attempt to run them on seperate outlets first to see if it improves. as time lapses breakers or gfi's can weaken and a continous amp draw esp. in the spin and the ignition stage at the same time which are the largest amp draw from either machine at any give time could be causing the issue. if this does not work you need a tech to look at it

Dishwasher tripping the circuit breaker

Andy, leave the breaker off and remove the toe panel (bottom panel) from the dishwasher. Remove the cover of the junction box where the cord connection or wiring is made. Look at the wire caps and see if they are not burnt. Sometimes these connections become loose and arch, tripping the breaker. If so, cut the wires, strip a new end and reconnect. back.
