Should be wap.voicestream.com....wap is also the internet access point as long as you subscribe to the total internet package.

How to connect to internet

Goto Start->Settings->Connections Tab->Connections
Choose Add a new Modem Connection
Enter A name say TMobile or GPRS or anything you want
Choose Cellular Line (GPRS) from the drop down list.
Click Next
For the APN (Access Point Name):
Enter in internet3.voicestream.com if she has the VPN data plan
or internet22_bing.gif.voicestream.com if she has the standard data plan.
Click Next
User Name, password and Domain leave blank
Select Finish
Try and connect to the internet2_bing.gif to verify that it works.

OR FOR AUTO CONFIGURATION

https://secure.mouse2mobile.com/clie...ption=internet
Have her choose the HP6315 the configuration is the same...
It is pretty much the same steps...
Funnything is that it gives wap.voicestream.com. as the APN...for all connections...

I SHOULD HAD ASKED EARLIER DO YOU HAVE A TMOBILE DATA PLAN?..THIS IS ACTUALLY FOR TMO

The best way is to call your carrier and get them sent to your phone automatically. To enter them manually:
T-Mobile Browser/Java Settings:

Connection name: T-Zones
Gateway IP address: 216.155.165.050
Secondary IP address: Blank
APN name: wap.voicestream.com
Data bearer: GPRS

Username: Blank
Bearer: Data
Home page: http://wap.myvoicestream.com

T-Mobile MMS Settings:

WAP Gateway IP Address: 216.155.165.050
APN Name: wap.voicestream.com
Homepage or MMSC URL: Messaging Server: http://mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc
Data Mode: Connection Oriented

AT&T Browser/Java Settings:

I have a t-mobile sim card, but my phone is htc touch pro. The phone works fine, the only problem is I can not send or recieve text messages. My question is does anyone have the MMS settings for the Unicel...

You need the T-Mobile settings if you are using a T-Mobile SIM. assuming you are in US as Unicel not over her in UK so the settings are:

T-Mobile GPRS settings (T-Mobile EDGE settings) T-Mobile GPRS/EDGE settings for terminals (e.g., phone handsets). Some items are possibly Nokia-specific. I have found the authentication type can be either Secure or Normal. These settings should be useful for T-MobileWeb users.
APN: wap.voicestream.com IP address: 216.155.165.050 Data bearer: GPRS Username: [none] Password: [none] Authentication type: Secure Connection security: Off
APN is the GPRS Access Point Name.
T-Mobile GPRS/EDGE modem settings T-Mobile GPRS/EDGE network settings when using a device as a GPRS "modem", that is, when "tethered" to another device. Examples include connection via Dial Up Networking (DUN) Bluetooth profile, or via Universal Serial Bus (USB). These settings should be useful for T-Mobile Internet users.
APN: internet2.voicestream.com Username: voicestream Password: [none] SMTP server: myemail.t-mobile.com
APN is the GPRS Access Point Name.

try wap.voicestream.com
also, you have to have internet in your plan,
if you switched from a sidekick you may have to adjust your account to a regular t-mo account with regular internet service.

I have an unlocked lg viewty and i have t-mobile web access but it wont let me in to any websites it keeps saying error

http://tmobileuspublic.wdsglobal.com/phonefirst

Go to that link. Its a configurator that can send the correct settings to the phone. Just select the manufacturer and model and follow the directions. What is the specific error? Just Error? If its something like http $code$ error then thats a network error, not phone.

If that doesnt work try this manual setup:

Setup Access Point:

  • From the Main menu go to Tools > Settings > Connectivity > Network > Access Points
  • Create New or Edit existing
  • Set the Name to T-Zones
  • Set the Access Point Name to wap.voicestream.com
  • Note: If you signed up for Total Internet, use internet2.voicestream.com or possibly internet3.voicestream.com

Setup Profile:

  • From the Main menu go to Browser > Settings > Profiles
  • Set the Profile Name to T-Zones
  • Set the Homepage to http://wap.myvoicestream.com
  • Set Connection Mode to TCP with Proxy
  • Set the IP Address to 216.155.165.050
  • Set the Proxy to 8080
  • Set Access Point to T-Zones

There is no java in the browser. Forget it. There is also no java loader so there is no downloading java games. Copying them to the SD card won't work either. No java loader so the file will be unrecognized.

Wap services like gmail, yahoo email and wap based instant messagers work fine. Make sure you have a good unlimited feature so you do not incur overages from over using your new toy.

Blackberry pearl - TomTom 920 compatibility

Greetings,
Looking into this I have found that they only blackberry firmware that is compatible with TomTom Plus services is 4.2.1.66 found here:
https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=1D72310EDC006DADF2190CAAD5802983

I scraped the rest off a forum and will paste it below. It seems to me that it is a lot of trouble for not a lot of payoff. Good Luck!
ou can still get the 4.2.1.66 version here: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads...190CAAD5802983
from Italy downloads but don't worry, it's Multilanguage. The Package Version is 4.2.1.102.

Install BlackBerry's Desktop Manager, I used version 4.3. Then remove the .bin (dot bin) from the 4.2.1.66 version you downloaded and run it letting it install itself. Then goto /Program Files/Common Files/Research In Motion/Apploader on the disk you installed the Desktop Manager on and rename vendor.xml to vendor.xml-save. If you don't do this the Desktop Manager will not offer to install the the 4.2.1.66 Italy version. (Unless probably you have an Italian provider.)

Then, you still have to do a manual setup of the phone in the TomTom setup.

1. Let the TomTom find the BlackBerry and Confirm connection to it.
2. Set it up as a trusted device on the BlackBerry.
3. Use TomTom services --> Yes
4. Country: United States
5. Select your Provider --> Other
6. Do you want to set up wireless data connection manually --> Yes
Access Point Name --> wap.voicestream.com
Username:
Password:
Obtain IP --> Automatic
Obtain DNS --> Automatic
Dial --> *99#
Login script --> at+cgdcont=1,"IP","wap.voicestream.com"
7. OK and it should connect!

Note: Attempting to use internet1.voicestream.com, internet2.voicestream.com, or internet3.voicestream.com as the TomTom attempts to do if you pick T-Mobile (I) thru (IV) did not work.

Since the first phone I tried was the T-Mobile Shadow I signed up for the Total Internet Plan, now that I have the BlackBerry I changed that to the BlackBerry Unlimited Plan but T-Mobile says it takes 2 to 48 hours to provision that so if this still works on Tuesday I'm good to go.

The trick to getting this working was to do a Factory Reset on the GO 720. Bingo. It worked. You still have to use wap.voicestream.com instead of internet2.voicestream.com (or any other number). So you can pick T-Mobile (I) and let it fail then choose to do a Manual setup changing the APN to wap.voicestream.com and accepting the default for the rest, or you can do a manual config from the get go and enter the APN, number to dial, and the connection string a.k.a. the Login Script on the TomTom.

And another thing, on the 8120 under Settings --> Advanced --> TCP the APN: value should be blank.

See http://www.tomtomforums.com/showpost...&postcount=121 for more info.
