Main control board or water float valve stuck in the "full" mode. Check inside dishwasher, generally in the left front corner and you should see round plastic devise that doesn't look like it does anything, that should be the float assembly, you will more than likely have to get to it thru the bottom under machine. It should have a pin that drops down to push the micro relay on, in turn, turns water valve on. If you can jumper relay just long enough to see if water valve comes on then replace relay. If float is working well and relay works then you have main board prob.

Common prob with this machine is the use of too much powder soap, causing the floats to have in the "up" position.

My LG dishwasher - model LD-12AW2 has 'E1' alert & won't work

This sounds like a anti flood activation due to water leak / spill detection. This device (polystireen float and micro switch) at the base of the washer detects any water leak and stops the washing cycle once water leak activates the switch via the float. Check if any water at the base of washer is cuasing the float to activate the switch. Rectify any leak / spill (normally a pipe / clamp) and this should solve the problem.

Error Code OE

Hi there,
The most common cause of an OE error code on a modern LG dishwasher is:
1. Blocked drain hose
2. Obstruction in the sump area (beneath the filter, which needs to be removed to check for onstruction)
3. Failing drain motor.

else you need to REPLACE THE PCB POWER CONTROL BOARD

Good Luck!!!

LG LD12AW2 Dishwasher overflowing

On the LG LD-12AW2 model, there is a float assembly just behind the wall where the water inlet port is located inside the unit.
When that float (or the micro-switch inside it) fails, water will continue to flow in without stopping . That causes the overflowing.
Post back here if you are looking for more specific guidance.
Good Luck!

this unit has an anti flood device. if it leaks it lifts a piece of plastic in the base and hits the microswitch. try leaning the unit to one side and i would put towels down. if water comes out then try a program. hope this helps.

LG LD12AW2 leaking

The fill switch may be contaminated with soap or debris that makes it heavier and makes it float lower in the water which means more water is required to trip it. Try moving it manually and see if it is hard to move at the top of its travel.
