There are "shadows" on people

Tries tv unplug, replug it back like about an hour later.By letting the tv resetting itself back to the factory setting.See,if this problems goes away.If problems still there, than the tv Tuner signal board is the causes and the problems,it dying. That the board, where the incomming broastcasting signal cable plug in to it.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish tv Tuner signal board for the replacement.

Polaroid 4241-TLXB wont stay on

I think I may have just solved this issue. Remove the back covers and turn the tv on until it the screen goes black. There will be a little red led that will light up when the screen goes black. right above that light there is 4 little swiches, the bottom one is labled BURN. Switch that one to the opposite direction. I don't know how but mine has been working for a couple days now with no issues. GOOD LUCK!

Polaroid FLM-1911 LCD TV - I got blank screen when I turn on it.

I had the same problem and got a TV repair man to fix it for real cheap. The whole fixing took less then 30 min and he goes to your house to fix the TV. He fixed it for an excellent price that left us astonished. He lives in NY. Email me if anyone needs his contact information. You wont be disappointed.

Grey Shadows for everythng on monitor

LCD Monitor Shadow Effect
This problem is best described as the LCD monitor "Shadow Effect".
The solution to this very simple. No software or hard ware changes required.
The cables that are connected to the LCD monitors are causing the problem. Its also called as electromagnetic noise or electrical noise.
Solution: Keep the two cables - (power cable and moitor display cable), that are connected to the LCD monitor as far away as possible with each other and also away from other electrical cables.
Thats it. Your shadow effect is fixed.
Thank you.

Dark vertical shadows

No,you can't. This is very common. I bought a new tv and i noticed right away that it had the problem you are mentioning. I took it back for an exchange and the next tv did not have this problem...until a year later. Now,of course it does have this problem, but it is out of warranty.

I think they make televisions very poorly today.
