Piston ring for campbell WL506206AI

Most parts lists only show the motor/pump assy (WL373000AJ) for your compressor. Campbell-Hausfeld does however have a breakdown of the motor assy and shows the piston/cylinder assy (WL210300SJ) being available for your compressor. It would be available from any C-H repair center or online at sites like eReplacementparts.com. That is the only way the piston, piston ring and cylinder parts are available, you cannot buy just the piston ring even though that's the main fail part in this assembly.

My Poulan Woodshark 14" type 2 (-2 on serial

Fuelleaking from the cap will not stop it running, 40-1 with good quaility two stroke oil shoule be fine, if there is a good spark and fuel at the plug, you need to check that the piston has not picked up, the hottest part of the engine is the exhaust side, so remove the muffler, and take a look at the piston skirt throught the open exhaust port, any signs of scuffing and it will need to come apart to check the damage.

Pins are not sinking into hardwood. compressor pressure is up to 115-120 psi

This is most likely caused by a worn O-ring in the piston cylinder. Take off the back 4 screws and gently pull the cylinder assy out of the nailer. Then push the piston out taking careful note of which direction everything was facing. There should be 2-3 on the outside of the assy(1-2 visible and 1 hidden under the band), and 1 on the piston itself. Any good parts house should have an O-ring gauge and most sizes in stock. This is a simple and cheap fix as long as you don't mind opening the tool up. If you don't I suggest taking it to a Senco Authorized repair center and letting them do it, but it will a lot more expensive because they will most likely tell you it needs a whole [Driver maintenance kit] which also includes a new driver, and is not usually necessary.

How to remove a clutch drum assy.

A serial would have been helpful. She has an outboard clutch (chain between clutch drum and engine). Use this as a guide:
R² Drive Link Outboard Clutch by Drivelink.blogspot.com
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdqkIuVNUQc
  1. Check the IPL for your saw to see if any special tools are needed. Poulan (Craftsman, Jonsered, Husky) clutch removal tool part number 530031112 if needed, is under $5 from many sources,
  2. There are metal piston stops available, when square (almost never) with the piston top these work well, if not square they have been known to punch through the piston. I suggest a length of starter cord or nylon rope be used instead of the piston stop (retain 6" ± so you can remove it). Make sure the piston is near the top of the cylinder before feeding the cord or it can fall through the exhaust port and damage the piston as it rises.
  3. Everyone I have ever removed had a left handed thread (tighten it to loosen it).
This often helpful too:

Enter the 3 digit model number (no XPs, Es, just the numbers)
Serial number decode – useful when downloading IPLs and Manuals
06 1500198
06 = year produced – 2006 (single digit before 2000)
15 = week produced - March
00198 = 198th unit Husky produced that week
Good Luck, If you need any more help you can can reply below.

Piston will not retract fully once fired

sounds like the tool needs to be cleaned and serviced or the driver is bent, if you don;t have the owners manual to clean this tool, go to Paslode.com and type in your model number for a detailed instruction on the cleaning of the tool.

How do you get to the oil pump assy. on a Husqvarna 346xp chainsaw? I am having problems keeping an oil pump in this saw.

The oiler and worm gear are behind the outboard clutch:

Poulan 18' model 2000 chain saw, quit running , will not start.

If you have a compression gauge, check the compression. Anything under 90psi is too low.

Check your flywheel key. If it is broken the flywheel will move and not fire at the correct time.

Note: if it does not sputter with carb cleaner then it's not your carb.

Next:
Remove your exhaust manifold. Look into the cylinder with a flash light. You are looking for scratches. Anything larger then a light fingernail is definite proof you need a new cylinder/piston assy.

If it passes that test do the following:

Pour mixed fuel straight into your cylinder until 1/4 full. Slowly pull your saw over while looking into the cylinder. If you see bubbles after the ring/rings go by then you need a new cylinder/piston assy. On rare occasions if no scratches are present on the cylinder wall or piston, you may be able to change just the rings.
