Question about Sony VPL-PX41 Multimedia Projector

Light leak on Sony VPL_PX41 projector

I have light leaking along the top edge of the screen (ceiling mounted) on my sony vpl-px41 projector. There is a blue "glow" along the top 10% of the image. Any Ideas?

How I can reset the lamps time?of this model Sony PVLPX41


Make sure that the projector is in standby mode and perform the following:

Press the following keys on the control panel in the following sequence for less than 5 seconds each: RESET, , ENTER

In english: RESET
LEFT ARROW
RIGHT ARROW
ENTER

Please note that this sequence is documented on page 43 of the user manual under changing the lamp.

I replaced the lamp in SONY VPL-PX41 Projector. The Message "Replace Lamp" won't go away. How to re-set?


hi yes, all you have to do is press, reset, then left arrow, then right arrow, then enter..that should reset the message for you do not press each button in sequence for more than 5 seconds, hope this helps

MY VIDEO PROJECTOR SONY VPL -HS10, CONNECTED TO COMPONENT VIDEO OUTPUTS IS DIPLAYING DATA ON THE SCREEN UPSIDE DOWN. HOW DO I CHANGE THIS PLEASE


There should be a menu option for orientation. The selection may be for ceiling vs standard. You have the unit set for ceiling mount.

definately a lamp problem, for some reason the projector doesnt seem to accept or recognize the new lamp and switches to "safe mode". usually the projector turns off before the bulb explodes...
