If there's power to the element, then replace the element.
If no power to the element, check the relay or timer (most likely the relay).

Green power light only on trevi exclusive

When power is turned on, the coffee selection button should blink during warming up. If it is not blinking then the following i possible:
1- The electronic sensor is bad. It is clamp mounted on the boiler to sense temperature and send message to control board to turn the heating off when it is ready to make espresso. The blinking light will be fixed to display this.
2- The heating element on the boiler is bad and not heating. The electronic sensor cannot relay any temperature as it is.not sensing the heating.
3- The electronic control board is bad and not sensing the temperature.
The machine should be opened up to test the sensor or the neating elements, and replace what is bad..

My lavazza blue esspresso machine lb2200 displaying error-21

Power down, press and hold language button, power up and the machine should go through a rinse cycle and start heating. That is what I did anyway and the fault cleared .

Dryer won't heat. I just replaced the Thermal Fuse, but didn't fix the problem. Any idea's?

There are several thermal fuses in this machine but you will need to check the main power to the unit and make sure there is the correct amount power. Then you may need to check the heating element itself.

Solis Crema SL90 NO HEAT

There can be a couple of things. The heating element could be bad. Check with an ohms meter. 12 - 16 ohms between the element terminals. You could have a bad power board. There is a solder connection that seperates and can be resoldered. Look for a small bulls eye where 3 solder connections make a triangle in the top left side. A little heat and new solder can fix it sometimes but don't put too much solder on or you will short the connections. If this doesn't fix the problem you need a new board.

Cuisinart 14 cup coffee maker won't heat up. It turns on but no coffee is brewed. heat plate is cold and water stays in resevior. Is it worth fixing? Can it be fixed?

It may be. Unplug the machine and take it apart. Find the thermal fuse. It is usually on one of the power wires near the plate. Check it with an ohmmeter or continuity tester. Replace it if it is open (no continuity) I'm not sure if they still do, but Radio Shack used to sell the fuses.

Won't heat

The Breville esp8xl has a wire connector to the heat chamber that can become loose through repeated heat/cool cycles. Opening up the machine, finding this connection, which was loose, blue wire at back of heat chamber, and tightening it fixed my problem.
