Question about Toshiba Satellite Pro 490CDT Notebook
My laptop asks for a power on password, i forgot mine and had locked me out, the links that were sent to me for master passwords by Toshiba didnt work, i tried taking out the hard drive and booting and it doesent ask me for a password when i put it back in it asks me for a password, im now stuck can anyone help. the laptop was made on 10th Dec 1987
The password is on the CMOS, best thing to do is open it up, find the CMOS battery and disconnect it for a few minutes.
