Hi

Could be something like the main video cable has come adrift, but to be honest it sounds more like the screen itself is on its way out and i would suggest taking to a reputable computer shop....

Depending on the make and model i would think around £140 is a cost you would be looking at to replace.

I have an ilo 32" TV less than 2 yrs old and last night it was fine. Now its on and I can hear the channels but the tv screen is black with hints of color outlining say people. DId a bulb blow?

LCD's don't have bulbs, they have CCFL tubes and they don't burn out. You have a fault in the inverter board that is powering the tubes - you will need to take the tv to a repair shop to have the board replaced.

99 cougar, new batt, found broken ignition fuse and replaced, will start with a jump, runs for a few mins then sputters and spits,, can keep it running by fluttering the gas, when it dies must get a jump.

Fuses don't simply wear out and blow. They blow because of a spike in amperage. Sounds like you have a short somewhere in your ignition system cause a spike which is gonna keep killing those fuses. I would bring the car to a good automotive electrical shop. Try to get a flat rate for diagnosis. Then it's your option to fix it or have them fix it.

Pioneer SD-582HD5 - screen went black, no sound, Poor remote feed

The blue tube might be leaking coolant in the high voltage area, that is the cause of the POP. This repair might not be a DIY because of the lethal high voltage surrounding the CRTs tubes.
The slow response from the remote could be because the coolant has affected the main board where the IR signal are going to the remote sensor.
Let me know if you require further assistance.

Sony KV 20S40 20" tv flutters, reduces in size and then shuts off

The set most probably has cracked solder joints in one of the deflection circuits, which is pretty common. The picture tube and major components are fine. A good tech can quickly resolder the main board and that should not cost too much. If your set came into my shop I would charge about $50 but ask around, the shops in your area will vary.

Fluttering

I've worked on a few of these sets and have found C2P08 to cause something like rolling bars in the picture and have found C2P05 to cause lines jumping in the picture.
