Go look at the orange rollers in the back and see if the letters are etched into your fuser... if it is then replace fuser... otherwise... replace your drum

Konica bizhub 7272 imprint is too light

First I would try fresh paper from an unopened ****. You could have moisture in the paper.

Some toners have a tape that has to be removed from the toner before installing into the machine. On the 7272 series machine there was a problem with the gears on the back of the developing unit wearing out and not adding toner. The machine would have made a loud grinding/gear skipping noise prior to failure. If this occurred the seals on the developer unit have gone bad leaking developer into the gears and ruining them. The developer and the developer unit will have to be replace.

Another possibility is the Transfer corona wire has broken or is dirty. Open the two front doors, lower the center lever and pull out the transport unit. A little the the left of center you will see some black paper guides, and under those guides are two channels. There should be two hair thin wires in one channel and one wire in the other channel. The single wire is the transfer wire. Make sure it is clean and not broken.

MP970 Photo All-In-One InkJet Printer: The printer head alignment is off. I have tried to...

  1. Make sure that the machine is turned on, and then load three sheets of A4 or Letter-sized plain paper in the Rear Tray or Cassette.
  2. Open the Paper Output Tray, and then open the Output Tray Extension. (1) Put your finger in the center of the top of the Paper Output Tray and open it gently. (2) Open the Output Tray Extension.
  3. Press the Paper Feed Switch to select the paper source where you have loaded paper.
  4. Print the print head alignment pattern. (A) Press the HOME button. (B) Select Settings , then press the OK button. (C) Select Maintenance , then press the OK button. (D) Select Manual head align , then press the OK button. (E) Select Yes , then press the OK button. (F) When " Did the patterns print correctly? " is displayed, confirm that the pattern is printed correctly, select Yes , then press the OK button. The input screen for the head position adjustment values is displayed.
  5. Note:If you select Head alignment print, the machine exits the process after printing the current head position adjustment values.
  6. Look at the first printout, and then adjust the print head position. (A) Check the printed patterns, and use the or button to input the number of the pattern in column A that has the least noticeable vertical streaks. (B) Repeat the same procedure until you finish i nputting the pattern number for columns B to F, then press the OK button. (C) Confirm the displayed message and press the OK button.
  7. Note: If it is difficult to pick the best pattern, pick the setting that produces the least noticeable vertical white streaks.
  8. Look at the second printout, and then adjust the print head position. (A) Check the printed patterns, and use the or button to input the number of the pattern in column G that has the least noticeable vertical streaks. (B) Repeat the same procedure until you finish inputting the pattern number for columns H to K, then press the OK button. For column K, the best pattern will be smooth and have no streaks in the border indicated by the arrow. (C) Confirm the displayed message and press the OK button.
  9. Look at the third printout, and then adjust the print head position. Check the printed patterns, and use the or button to input the number of the pattern in columns L and M that has the least noticeable horizontal streaks, then press the OK button.

Need to change my print size on my C6280 Photosmart All-in-one printer, make it larger

It depends on what you are printing, but generally this needs to be adjusted in the software you are using.
If you print pictures or photos, you have to find an option to scale the printout up, either during printing, or beforehand.
If you print PDF documents, in the Print dialog box there is an option to "fit printer margins" or "auto-adjust to printer size" or something to that effect in every PDF reader application. If however the document is formatted for your paper size it will not be scaled, and if it's formatted for an even bigger sheet size, it will scale down the printout.
If you print documents from Word, there's no easy way to make the printout bigger - you can change the font size to a larger one in the whole text, but chances are, that this will ruin the text formatting.
In Excel there is an option to scale everything by a given percentage, which will automatically tile the table into as many sheets as necessary. and then the area will be printed on as many paper sheets as necessary to get
There's no one solution, unless your printer driver has an option to do a fixed scaling - but this will usually be sensible only for enlarging printouts that occupy a smaller area on paper, and you want them to use the maximum paper area. I'm sorry, but you have to experiment a bit to get the hang of it.
Good luck!

Printouts have type ghosting

Change the fuser unit if you have to hand. The problem is likely caused by a lack of pressure from the pressure roller. Also check the transfer roller for a similar ghost image.

Lexmark P4350 All-in-One--Ink printout problem

It may sound stupid but try cleaning the steel rod that the cartridge runner runs along, with a little luck this may help the situation I know it has for others. It did not help me though. I have a Lexmart P for POXY 4350 that has had little use, but I have just tried to re-fill the black cartridge and kept getting iether the1203 or 1103 error code. I tried everything bar a complete strip down and it still does not work so I went and bought new cartidges and the problem has not gone away I am therefore stuck with £24's worth of rejected cartridges and a visit to Tesco for a new Epson.
