go to my computer > click on hardware tab >
click on device manager button > in the is next screen on the bottom should have>>universal serial bus controllers
(write these down just in case it cant find them)
right click on them and uninstall
reboot let windows reinstall them
Also told Microsoft hotfix causes this problem try uninstalling the last hotfix

heres the manual of your camcorder. be sure that you have PDF READER to view the whats written inside.
heres another manual!
if you want to download the driver of your camcorder just go to this website and follow the instructions. you can download and install it to your computer to recognize your device.

I had changed my computer with new one but the problem the new computer software is windows vista my old verson system was windows xp how can i get activate my handicam connected to my system
