I want to disable to auto zoom feature but it will not allow me...every time i set it up it starts to auto focus and zoom...i wish to disable these..any help?thankyou

Zoom :
  • 3 x digital zoom (automatic or manual)
  • Travelling-ZoomTM function : Always be in the frame with this unique feature which tracks your face and even enlarges the field of view if there is more than one person in the frame. All completely automatic, just look at the web cam!
The above tells me that you can have automatic or manual 3x digital zoom. Go to the manual mode for the digital zoom and problem might be solved.

I have a brand new Logitech 9000 but when I zoom it gets blurry. I cant take a close pic of my eyes. I have to put the camara close to my face to do it. Why cant I zoom into my eyes like many web cams and...

It could be the cam doesn't have enough power. Might you be running a machine thats a few years old? Try getting a usb slitter / hub that has it's own power source. Thanks

Blurry zoomed in pictures

if you take pictures on digital zoom, the picture quality may not be acceptable. Try don’t use digital zoom.
digital zoom is not really zoom, it just enlarge a portion of the image, thus 'simulating' optical zoom. That is why you lose image quality on digital zoom.

Zoom error

Turn Camera off remove batteries for a few moments. Re insert batteries. Turn on will reset itself. Ensure you use correct focus settings as per instructions. If you dont use correct settings this problem will reoccur.

Powershot A75- zoom doesn't work/ always says change batteries

It is very unlikely to be a problem with the batteries if you are sure they are new and the right size and correctly inserted. The fact that it turns on at all would indicate that the batteries are fine. A "stuck" zoom on this range of cameras is often solved by giving the camera a gentle slap. (I have an A95 which had a similar problem that solved itself when my girlfriend dropped it). I wouldn't recommend dropping your camera, but try a little soft violence and you may find it works. If not, then a repair shop is definitely the best solution as these cameras have few internal parts that an amateur could fix. Possibly another solution could be to try the external power supply - most main camera shops should be able to supply - thus eliminating completely the possibility of the batteries being the problem, but it sounds like a mechanical issue with the zoom mechanism.

Camera Zooms randomly??

I believe you have face tracking enabled. Go into PC Cam Center and go to the Live video section. In here there is a source button, click on it. On the video tab you should see an option for Face Tracking, turn it off and this zooming will stop.
