How to Zip and Unzip Files with Peazip?

Follow this steps.
1.PeaZip is a freeware cross-platform archive
manager that provides a single GUI for Open
Source technologies ( 7-Zip , FreeArc, PAQ,
UPX. ..) on Windows, Linux, and BSD. The file
manager allows both to select files and
folders to be archived as Zip files (or other
formats), and to select archives to be
unzipped. Alternatively, file selection can be
performed with PeaZip system's context
menu entries (not featured in PeaZip Portable
version) or simply dragging and dropping files
from / to the program.
2.Archive creation can be started dragging files
on the application, or with "Add" button in
program's tool bar. The archive creation
interface prompts by default creation of a Zip
file, but the file format can be customized, as
well as compression ratio (from faster to
better) and other miscellaneous options,
including encryption. PeaZip relies on
optimized Deflate algorithm for compressing
in Zip format, that usually compress 5-10%
better than standard Deflate but keeping
compatibility with other Zip utilities. 7Z
format gives better compression ratio, but is
slower than Zip. As quite unique feature for
archive management software, PeaZip
supports two factor authentication (password
plus key file), random password generation,
and features an integrated encrypted
password manager. "Advanced" tab features
more fine-grained options, "Console" tab
transform the task in a command line i.e. for
use in scripts or for study purpose,
"Schedule" tab allows to transform the
interactive task in a scheduled one.
3.Archive extraction can be started from system
context menu, or dragging compressed files
on the application, or with "Extract" button in
program's tool bar. It can handle multiple
archives even of mixed types at once, or
selective extraction of content from a single
archive. Over 170 types of archives are
supported: classic ZIP files and its variants,
new WinZip's ZIPX file format, RAR files, old
ACE archives, Microsoft's CAB and WIM files,
Apple's DMG packages, ISO and UDF disk
images, and many more.

The Instant Backup on my Seagate Freeagent Goflex portable drive says the backup is complete in one area, then says backup in progress. It's been backing up the same file for about eight hours, "

How big is the file you are transferring ?
The FAT32 format does not support single files larger than 5GB, so if you have a file larger than 5GB you cannot put it on your FAT32 thumb drive. Most thumb drives and other portable media devices use FAT32 format, so this setback makes large files less portable, and that just won't do. Get around this problem by compressing the of the file or by splitting the file up into multiple pieces.

Create a folder for your RAR file and insert a copy of the original file into this folder. RARing a file separates it into multiple pieces, so creating a file specifically for your RAR file will keep the files together allowing you to move one folder to your FAT32 device instead of having to locate and move multiple files. Right click the large file that you want to put on a FAT32 device. Select "Add to archive" from the menu that appears to the side. Select "RAR" from the "Archive Format" located to the left of the menu. Click the arrow next to "Split by volume, bytes," and select "CD 700: 700mb." This will create a new file for every 700mbs, meaning your your one large file will be separated into many 700mb files that can be put back together as a single file later. Click "OK." Put the folder, containing your newly separated files, onto your FAT32 device after WinRAR has finished separating the file. b> Zip File b> Right click the large file you want to put on a FAT32 device. Select "Add to archive" from the menu that appears to the side of the file. Click "OK" on the next menu. This menu allows you to customize the compression settings. The only option you need to change is the "RAR" selection to "ZIP" in the "Archive Format." The rest of the default settings will work fine, so there's no need to change anything else. The zipped file will appear in the same folder as the original. Delete the copy of the original large file from the folder and put your newly compressed file on your FAT32 device after the file has completely compressed. The time it takes for the file to finish compressing depends on the of the file. Hope this helps. http://www.all-freeware.com/getfreeware.html?pid=109090&mirror=1

When you downloaded the audio books they are compressed in ZIP file format, then you need to unzip these to restore them to mp3 file format.
These mp3 files can now be played on your MP3 player.

How to install a downloaded font in a pc

First, the font file you downloaded may have been compressed to save space. If the extension is "zip" or "rar" then you'll need to uncompress it. Windows has support for the zip format, and all you need to do is double-click the file icon to start the process. If you aren't familiar with how to unzip files, this page can help.

Windows doesn't support rar format compression, so you'll need another program. WinRAR is one. It's free to download and try for 30 days, but you need to purchase it if you want to keep it. 7-Zip is a free program that unzips rar and zip files as well as many other formats.

Once you have extracted the font files (which usually have a ttf extension), you can just copy them into the Windows fonts folder at C:\WINDOWS\FONTS. Once in that folder the fonts are installed.

After downloading the software in a computer, how to in stall the software in the computer

What is the format of the downloaded files? Is it in an image, eg. iso, img. daa...etc... or is the files compressed in a Zip, Rar...etc... format?

If it is in the image format, you can use a 'virtual drive' which support the image format to load the image to do the installation. Or your can burn the the image files to a CD/DVD and install the software from the burned CD/DVD.

If it is a compressed file, you have to extract contents of the compressed file to a folder and look for a setup/installer.exe in the folder and install the software.

Hope it helps.
