My KC550 lg does nt run internet .I received settings also but it give s communication error.why?

First what is a KC550 lg , laptop , deskop , mobile phone.
Im assuming phone have you synced with the wireless router ?
Connecting your LG phone to wireless Internet is easy to accomplish with phones that can receive Wi-Fi signals.
You may decide to use the Wi-Fi capabilities in the event that you do not receive the best signal from your wireless provider at your home or office.
If this is the case, then hooking up to a Wi-Fi network near you could provide you with a faster connection to the Internet and a more reliable signal to send e-mails, texts and pictures.
Press the "Applications" tab on the home screen of your phone.
Scroll down the list of applications until you reach the "Settings" option.
Press "Settings" to bring up the menu.

Locate and click the "Wireless & Network" or "Connections" option within the "Settings" menu.
Select the "Wi-Fi Setting" or "Wireless Manager" option, then select the network that you want to connect to and click "OK."
All of the available wireless networks within your range will appear.

Enter the wireless network password (usually located bottom of router) if you are connecting to a secure network.
Press the "Done" button followed by the "Connect" button.

Tip

Wireless Tip: Does you wireless router keep disconnecting / dropping the...

Home wireless networks that are based on the 802.11b or 802.11g/n standards transmit their signal in a narrow radio frequency range of 2.4 GHz. Various other electronic devices in a home, such as cordless phones, garage door openers, baby monitors, and microwave ovens, may use this same frequency range. Any such device can interfere with a Wi-FI home network, slowing down its performance and potentially breaking network connections.

The 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal range is divided into a number of smaller bands or "channels," similar to television channels. Many wireless products ship with a default Wi-Fi channel of 6. If encountering interference from other devices within the home, consider changing the channel up or down to avoid it. Some Wi-Fi channel numbers overlap with each other. Channel 1 uses the lowest frequency band and each subsequent channel increases the frequency slightly. Therefore, the further apart two channel numbers are, the less the degree of overlap and likelihood of interference.

If this won't work, try to update or upgrade your wireless network device driver software. Visit your PC/Wireless device manufacturer's website and look for the appropriate updated driver. If the problem continues after doing all these, then consider buying a new wireless router as your current is deemed broken.

Turning on the wifi on a lenovo idea centre series b3

Step 1:
Troubleshooting your wireless connection via your Lenovo computer is not a task that requires familiarity with wireless networks or a vast level of computer troubleshooting knowledge. You can repair Lenovo wireless problems ranging from browser setting errors to hardware connection issues and the only item you will need on hand is the owner's manual that was shipped with your router. You will not require any additional devices or tools and should not have to resort to the expensive aid of a technician.
Launch the web browser you normally operate and check the "Work Offline" settings. Click on the top toolbar where it says "File" and scroll down to where it says "Work Offline." Ensure this selection is not checked, otherwise it will impede the operation of your wireless connection. Click on this option to uncheck it. Look over the connection made between your modem and wireless router. Both devices have an Ethernet port on the rear. It looks like an overd telephone cord port. If these ports are not occupied by an Ethernet cable, connect one end of the cable to each device. This connection cannot be loose. Check your records for the password to your Lenovo wireless setup if you have a secured connection. (A secured connection is recommended). If you cannot find your password in your records, you will need to reset it. Find the manual that shipped with your router and extract two important pieces of information. The first is the special web address the manufacturer provided for you to set up your router's settings; the second is the default password for your router. Enter the web address from the manual into the web browser and click "Enter." When prompted, input the default password from the wireless router. Choose a new password for your wireless connection now that you have access to the settings. Additionally, ensure the kind of wireless security you are using is "WPA." "WEP" is another available option, but it is an older encryption type and is technically inferior. Click on the wireless network icon on the right side of the bottom toolbar in Windows on your Lenovo computer. A list of wireless networks within range of your Lenovo computer will appear. Click on the name of your wireless network and input your new password when prompted. Look to the bottom right of your Windows desktop. You should get a notification stating that you have successfully joined the network

I reset my Belkin Wireless Pre-N Router F5D8230 to the factory setting. Now I would like to put a password in to keep the wireless secure in my home. How do I do it?

With a Belkin wireless router you can connect computers to the same Internet connection without having to run cables between all of them. If you don't want any stranger with a laptop that is within the range of your wireless router to be able to access your network you will first need to enable the router's security settings.

1.Power on any of the computers that are currently connected to a network through your Belkin wireless router. Click on the "Start" button and then open the Control Panel.

2. Scroll down through the Control Panel options and double-click the "Devices" icon. Right-click on the entry for your Belkin wireless router and click on "Update Driver." Wait for the latest software driver to finish downloading and then close the Devices window.

3. Open your web browser by clicking on its corresponding desktop icon. Click on the address bar at the top of the web browser's window and type in the string of numbers and dots "192.168.2.1" Press the Enter key to bring up the router's access page. Click on the "Login" button.

4. Leave the password text box blank and then click on the "Submit" button to access the settings menu. Click on the tab at the top of the screen labeled as "Wireless."

5. Find the "Security" link at the center of the page and click on it. Click on the "Security Mode" drop-down menu box and then change the security mode to whichever setting you want. Choose the "128 bit WEP" option from the drop-down menu if you want to enable security encryption on your wireless network.

6. Click on the "Generate" button at the bottom of the screen to generate the encryption key and then type in a password you want to use in the "Passphrase" text box. Leave the box empty if you want anyone within range to be able to access your wireless router. Click on the "Apply Changes" button to save the changes.

I hope you find it very helpful. Best regards.

Change password

Are you asking about your wireless network password or the password to access the router control panels via a web browser?

Your wireless network requires a password if you have your network setup to be secure from outside people using it.
If you have no neighbors within wireless range and don't care about anyone accessing your home network then you can turn off the wireless encryption feature within the router control panels.
Then it won't ask for a password when you connect.

Of course a properly working network card will do that anyway since it remembers the password for you and connects automatically anyway, so I'm not sure why you'd want to remove the password.

I don't recommend removing a wireless password because it's normally stored on your laptop anyway and you only have to enter it once. Then it normally just works from then on. If there is no password then other people can use your Internet connection and slow it down, they could access your router and THEY could put a password on it, or have easier access to get into your computer.

Anyway ...
To access the router and change the settings you need to identify what IP it's on so you can log into it and view the settings. Most routers including this one has a full HTTP menu like a web site that is used to configure it.
.
While connected to the router (or online) go to the Start Menu, Accessories, and then Command Prompt. Start that and type in IPCONFIG and hit enter. Find the section for your network card or Ethernet, then look for the IP address called "Default Gateway" such as 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1

Note if you have Ethernet and wireless then there will be 2 sets of numbers. Select the one that you are using at the time for your connection. Then we use that number to access the router.

1. Launch your Web browser. Enter http://192.168.0.1 or whatever number you found earlier and put that into the address bar (instead of www.whatever) and press the "Enter" key. If you have the address right the router will respond and ask for the username and password.

2. Type "admin" for the username and leave the password field blank. This is the default for this router unless someone at your house changed it.

3. Click "OK". The router config screen will appear.
Find the wireless settings page and if you want to edit or remove the wireless password you can do it here. If you turn off the wireless security then it will require no password.

I recommend using an Ethernet connection for these adjustments because when you change wireless settings you'll basically hang up your connection each time you make a change and hit save. Ethernet is more likely to stay connected and doesn't care or even use the wireless password.

This is a bit complicated to write down and get every step exactly right but that covers the basics of it. If you get stuck you can refine your question or ask for clarification.
