Question about HP Pavilion dv6000z Notebook
Ok ...you have to enable it in the volume manager ...so ...double clic on the volume icon tray ( lower right ) and will appear a window with a few volume controls ...In the left upper there is a option choice .....click and choose properties... in there you have to select the mic from a list ...its volume will be displayed on the initial window after that ...check not to be muted...and give it volume ...it has to work now ....
by the way I assumed that ya have an xp on it ...but its about the same for vista ..you have to go on volume controls from sounds...and see the playback properties...and volume and see not to be muted...
I also noticed that dowgrading from vista to xp ...for some HD laptops the mic problems are present ...It something with the driver ....if that what i said not working ... look for a more compatible sound driver ..or ...choose a usb mic ...maybe will do the trick

Testimonial: "thanks for the tips, I tried but it still didn't work out. Everything is unmuted and the volume is on max. Is that may be the jack of the mic itsel"
