Question about RCA D52W19 52" Rear Projection Television

1 Answer

I have RCA D52W19 52 and i got problems with it

I have RCA D52W19 52
I can get it on by pressing the "ok" button on the remote to keep the light flashing that eventually turns it on. The only problem is that i have to do this everyday and it takes a few tries. I dont want to go into the back of my tv but that is still an option. i also isolated the power bar to one outlet to see if it is a voltage problem. It would be nice if sum1 could help.

thanks

Here is the steps on how you can reprogram your RCA tv remote control:

1. Turn the television on by pressing the "Power" or "On" button that is located on the set.
2. Press and hold down the "Code Search" button located on the RCA TV remote. 3. Press the "TV" button on the RCA TV remote. Once you press this button, you can release the "Code Search" button
4. Start pressing the "On/Off" or "Power" button that is located on the RCA TV remote. Keep pressing the button until the television shuts off. 5. Press "Enter" on the RCA TV remote to save the code on the remote. The remote will then control the television.

Dont know code # my rca remote rcr3273n or the sequence to program it for a rca tv

Make sure the device is on. Hold down the tv (or whichever device your trying to program) button first and then the power button simultaneously until the red light stays on solid. Then press the power button, it will flash one time, and keep pressing slowly letting it flash until the device turns off. Then press the stop button...and it is programmed.

Need how to work universil remote

Try pressing and holding the SETUP button until the light stays on. Next, press and release TV. Then keep pressing and releasing the ON/OFF button until the TV turns off. When it does, press ENTER. Hopefully this will solve your problem. If not, purchase a new universal remote control from Walmart. I just bought one for $4.94 that had an "auto-search" feature that automatically identified the code. Good luck!

I need a list of codes to reprogram a universal remote for magnavox televisions.

hi, please could you let me know the make and model number of your remote, this may be written under where the battery goes as each model will have a different setup option.

if you do have the manual but dont have the codes then what you can do is an auto scan where you keep pressing the standby button until the telly turns off you then save it at that point then the remote should work the telly, if you dont have manual then let me know ok

i need to know if its made by ge or rct etc as their are a few people who make them

you may find the manual or codes here

here is the guide for an rca universal remote follow these instructions to scan through all the codes on the remote and save it when you come to the correct one, this is for rca how ever their are many other universal remotes so this may or may not work

1 turn on the target device, in your case this will be the telly

2 press and hold code search until the led lights light up

3 release the code search button

4 press and release the component button you wish to program in your case this will be tv it should flash then light back up and remain lit

5 press and hold the code search button until your tv tuns off then let go and press enter to save the code.

now if your remote is and rca one then keep doing this until the telly turns off then press enter and you should then be able to control the telly with the remote, if how ever this is not the instructions for your remote then let me know what make the remote is ok.

let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

Rca remote control code list

OK GANG: HERE GOES, I PURCHASED A RCA REMOTE (RCR312W), 3 CHOICE FUNCTION.
SAT-CBL...TV...VCR-DVD.
I HAVE 2 DIFFERENT TV'S, DAEWOO TV AND A PANASONIC TV/VCR. THE REMOTE HAS
WORKED ON BOTH SETS. I DROPPED THE REMOTE WHEN IT HIT THE FLOOR THE BACK
FLAP HOLDING THE BATTERYS KICKED OFF AND ONE BATTERY FELL OUT. I WENT NUTS
FOR 2 DAYS TRYING TO GET THE CODE FOR THE DAEWOO. TODAY 11/14/2008 A FRIEND
GAVE ME A PANASONIC TV/VCR 20". AGAIN I TRIED TO FIND THE CODE, DIDN'T WORK OUT EASILY, AGAIN DRIVING ME LOONY TUNES IF YAA KNOW WHAT I MEAN.
HERE IS THE SKINNY: SOLUTION TO YOUR PROBLEM !!!! IT DOES WORK.

1, TURN ON THE COMPONENT YOU WANT TO PROGRAM.
2, PRESS AND RELEASE THE COMPONENT BUTTON ON YOUR REMOT THAT CORRESPONDS TO THE COMPONENT YOU WANT THE REMOTE TO OPERATE.
TV, VCR, ETC... THE ILLUMINATED ON-OFF BUTTON WILL TURN ON AND STAY ON.
3, NOW PRESS BOTH BUTTONS ON-OFF AND TV, OR: ON-OFF AND CBL. WHAT EVER.
THE ON-OFF BUTTON ON TOP OF THE REMOTE WILL TURN OFF, KEEP PRESSING
AND IT WILL COME BACK ON AND STAY ON. RELEASE THE BUTTONS,BOTH.
ON-OFF WILL STAY ON NOW.
4, KEEP POINTING THE REMOTE AT THE COMPONENT, THE REMOTE AND THE TV
NEED TO TALK TO EACH OTHER,(MAKES SENSE.)
5, GO TO THE BOTTON OF THE REMOTE AND PRESS THE "PLAY" BUTTON,
RELEASE. "" KEEP PUSHING THE PLAY BUTTON EVERY 5 SECONDS,
UNTIL THE TV TURNS OFF"". OR THE VCR, OR THE CBL, WHATEVER YOU ARE
PROGRAMING.
6, NOW: PRESS AND RELEASE THE "REVERSE" BUTTON, THIS IS AFTER THE TV
HAS TURNED OFF. TV SHOULD TURN BACK ON WHEN THE "REVERSE" BUTTON
IS PUSHED.
7, IF THIS WORKS THE LAST STEP IS TO HIT THE "STOP" BUTTON,
THIS WILL SAVE THE SETTING. REMOTE SHOULD BE PROGRAMED AND TURN
THE TV ON AND OFF. YOU DON'T NEED THE SILLY CODE NUMBER, THE REMOTE
DOES THE ACTIVE PROGRAMMING AUTOMATIC.
HOPE THIS HELPS YAA ALL... "PEACE".........OKIE
