Though itz unclear to me of wat os u r using..
assuming that u r using win xp pro sp2..n directx installed..
check if Audio device is enabled in bios..

howevr, download microsoft kb888111update n install it..u need to re-install or update the device driver (may b manually)..logon to internet n seek the package/audio driver..along wid the company, there will b a list of such site n driver download links if u search by the model name on a search engine (like google)..

http://www.nodevice.com/driver/IC7/get40801.html

download them onto a location; if the driver is in a zip format, unzip it,if itzin .exe form, just run it; if done manually it'll ask for the correct driver and location; relocate the path and a.inf file (wat it'll ask for)....goto the device manager n verify, if installed properly..!!
also download n install "k-lite mega codec pack"....

if not fixed try using a standby pci snd card (in such case it'll b a confirmed case of ur system board is likely to b defective)..

but always better to consult ur system admin/vendor....

I have no graphics

Hello download the driver here at msi:

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/845PE-Max.html#/?div=Driver&os=All

Please select your windows version, in the selection box on the left.

Download the vga driver, and unzip the file before you install.

Here is no vga drivers, for windows 7 and vista.

You can install a AGP 4x slot vga graphic card, on the mainboard instead useing the onboard graphic.

Just make sure the driver is available, for the windows system.

Good luck

Instal driver but sound not coming

Hello download the right driver here:

http://www.msi.com/product/mb/865PE-Neo2-PLS--PFS--PFISR.html#/?div=Driver&os=All

Please select your windows and unzip the file when downloaded.
You also need the chipset driver.

Here is only drivers for win xp so if you are running windows 7 or vista you have to buy a soundcard because the driver is not supportet for a new windows system.

The green outlet is for the speakers and see that the volumen isen`t
turned down low or muted.

My hard disk is 80GB (IDE) when i try to connect another hard disk 320GB (SATA) the mainboard doesnot detect 320GB SATA hard disk and my pc restart every moment note: MSI 848P NEO-V

Hello samanozy ,
Some older motherboards will not support a too wide HDD whatever the interface.
Another point is to know if you have set the boot priorities in the BIOS . Your machine is maybe attempting to boot from the Sata drive .
Best regards ,
fanaudi .
