How to use password instead of fingerprint to logon
I have a fingerprint reader on my laptop that uses Digital Persona software. I need to disable it so that friends or family can share the laptop. In other words, how do I get it to ask for a password instead of a fingerprint?

How to disable fingerprint reader In Windows, in the settings section of the Fingerprint Control Center, uncheck Replace windows logon with fingerprint protected logon. In the Fingerprint section uncheck the Power-On Security section if the user has fingerprints enrolled there. You do not need to uninstall the software unless you wish to.
