Question about Apple Power Mac G5 Desktop
Hi I use iMovie since long time, and I use my Canon Camcorder ZR500 many times too,
But today I can control the cam in iMovie, but I did'nt see the cam image then I can't import video. The Cam works properly I try 4:3 and 16:9 format.???
G5 1,8 Ghz, iMovie 6.03 with OS 10.5.8
Exactly the same set-up on august 09 and It was working working.
I change my fireWire cable = same problem ? Thanks
I have a slightly different but related model of Canon camera. I have found that if you erroneously power it on in "camera" mode instead of "playback" mode, you get the symptoms you describe: you can control the camera with iMovie, but you can't get any video out of it. Make sure you have the power switch in "playback" position -- it's an easy mistake to make.
