All you have to do is call your Network Service Provider customer care
and ask them for the GPRS/MMS settings....they will send you the settings on
the phone right away with no extra cost.
Then you'll get a
prompt to save the settings and then click 'Yes','OK' or 'Save'.
Once
saved...switch off your mobile for a minute and switch it on.
Then go to the create message option-- message-- add media (select wotever you want to send)-- add your number (this will test is you are able to receive and send)-- and then click on send.
If you are still not able to send...call your network service provider and this time you'll have to manually configure the settings...don't worry they'll guide you in a step by step procedure.
Have resolved issue of Sync Failure on my SGH-F480T by simply killing
off all calendar entries and contacts in the phone and resyncing with
outlook. ONLY resynced the next 3 months worth of appointments and all
OK now :-) NO THANKS TO SAMSUNG WHO SUGGESTED A FIRMWARE UPGRADE WOULD
BE REQUIRED TO RESOLVE THIS ISSUE :-(

un pair the phone then re pair the phone if it does not automatically ask if you want to download the phonebook then you have to push the numbers to the phone manually by going to the phone book folder where is says to add contacts and it will more than likely let you push them with your phone by going to the phone number in your phone and sending to sync with the send via bluetooth option...
I have this problem on Telstra when I restart the F480T.
To fix in Australia on Telstra: - Widget->Messages - Settings->Text messages - Text message centre settings - Edit Text message centre 1 - Centre address = +6141706700
Save.
You can get the centre address from anybody on the same network as you.
