Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I set-up a password for my Airlink 101 Wireless Router Model 430W

I am assuming you are trying to create an administration password for the router. This is different to the security access code that wi-fi devices connecting to the router would need.

If you are unable to login to the router then follow the instructions to go to default setup as mentioned on this page.
AirLink101 Help Desk

Once you get to the administration page in the menu you can create a new password.

See manuals and other information about your router on this page. It may be important to know that this is a very old router and you may require a firmware upgrade to ensure it is compatible with current windows and browser versions.

My Wireless connection status page is blank. Same with the wireless connection properties page and the "view available networks page"(or wireless network connection page) can't open, all it has is the top...

The AWL number was what I was looking for, thanx.
If the AirLink utility is running, there is where you would check the status. The way to set it so that the connection shows in the 'network connections '
Go into your Control Panel, then go into Network Connections
Right click on your AirLink wireless adapter and click “Properties”
Click on the “Wireless Networks” tab
Put a check in the box next to “Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings”
Click “OK”

If you wish to go back to using the AirLink101 802.11g Cardbus Utility, go back into the “Wireless Networks” tab in your AirLink adapter’s properties and remove the check mark next to “Use Windows to configure my wireless network settings”

Hi.

This method will hard reset the wireless drivers back to default settings.
What i want you to do is right click "computer" select "manage" and then "device manager", a list will populate, then click on the + sign next to "network adapters" and right click on the wireless adapter and "un-install" the device, reboot the PC and wait for windows to detect the wireless card and install the drivers for it, this will appear in the system tray (bottom right hand side) when its done try to connect again.

Good luck
