Re: having trouble replacing waste toner receptacle on...

If the copier indicated to empty the waste toner you will have to reset in the counter in service mode. Press the additional functions key, the 2 & 8 keys at the same time, then the additional function key again. This should get you into service mode. If not depress the reset key and try again. Once there at the top right you will see counter. Depress it then you should see a menu and depress MISC. Depress WST-TNR, then depress "C" on keypad. Counter should go to all 0's. I think that the waste toner message displays at 250,000 copies made.

The panel is on the left-hand side near the bottom. you must loosen a screw, but it doesn't come out all the way. then pop the plastic cover off and you'll see like a clear bottle, remove empty and make sure to clean the top neck of the bottle for the sensor to read it clean. Good picture of the bottle (Mfr Part #: FG6-5815-000) here:

How do I "Replace Waste Toner Container"?

The waste toner on this machine ends up in the drum unit. The drum unit normally needs replacing before it fills with toner. If you do need to empty it------take the drum unit out of the machine, and on the side is a plastic stopper.....remove this and empty the toner out.......don't use a vacuum cleaner as the toner particles are smaller than the filter on the end up with toner all over the place and a knackered vacuum...

I have canon ir 6570 continueing errod code e0013 solution

This is the standard Canon code for waste toner feed screw is locked. Most likely someone reset the waste toner counter and the waste toner has backed up in the auger screw. You should first empy the waste toner bottle located on the right side lower right. Remove the two screws and empty the bottle you find. You may even have to remove all the associated covers motors and circuit boards to get to the waste toner system. You will have to either clear out the auger tube, or replace the whole assembly. Check for broken parts, bound up screw, fused toner, etc. I've done this a couple of times and it's not fun. I try to make sure that I empty the bottle at every 1 million copy mark just so this doesn't happen again. Good Luck.

I need to reset the waste toner until I receive a replacement for my ImageRunner C5051, is that possible?

This is incorrect. You can manually empty the waste. Make sure you remove the small clear plastic part that is on the side and empty it as well (this is what the sensor looks at to tell the macine it is full)

Our Canon ImageRunner 400S says to replace the waste toner container. However, I can't find in the manual how to do that.

Waste toner is located in drum unit, look for any cork on drum unit assy, open it, and empty waste toner.

Where is the waste toner receptacle located on the canon IR 3300i

Lower rear right portion has a small vertical panel held by one screw. The waste bottle is behind this panel.

I have Canon ir5075 and it asks me to change waste bottle. I empty the bottle. But do not know how to tell the printer that it is empty.

I am not familiar with this model but usually Canon waste bottle has:

1. Check if the waste toner botlle has some clear portion near the neck, (as in IRC3200) or other part of the bottle ,even the waste toner was removed but if this portion is still clouded by toner the sensor will still detect the waste is full

2. If the situation is not like this some Canon Ir machine needs to reset waste toner counter in the service program mode even the waste toner bottle was emptied

Canon imageRUNNER 2020 alternates between displaying Error Code E019 and saying "Waste Toner Full".

hi you have a waste toner error code, the waste toner is apart of the drum unit in these machines so you will need to order a new drum unit for it.
easiest way to fix the problem.
