It won't download...

Hi, My mom just bought the Sims 3 game for me and I can't download it. My computer meets all the requirements, but for some reason the installation screen won't pop up. I tried waiting, restarting my computer and re-entering the disk - but to no avail. What should I do?

Sims3 is incompatible

I assume you running it on Windows 7 32-Bit. Now before you trying the tips below, do make sure your computer is compatible and meet the Sims 3 requirement.

The Sims 3 can be run on a PC with Windows XP and Vista, and on a Mac. However, there is no official Windows 7-compatible version. This means that Sims 3 will not install on Windows 7 properly.
To fix this error, you need to run Sims 3 in Compatibility Mode. To do that, simply right-click the Sims 3 icon, select Properties and then select Compatibility. Then check the Run this program in compatibility mode for box and select Windows Vista or Windows XP SP3. The game should work fine.

How do I fix Sims 3 skipping on my computer?

First verify your computer meets the minimum requirements to run the game. You can find this info on the game case or at sims3.com. If your computer does meet the minimum specifications, try updating your video card to the latest drivers. The easiest way to do this is to visit the website of your video card's manufacturer. If it is a recent problem and the game was performing well before, try uninstalling and reinstalling the game. It takes just one corrupt pattern layer to make the entire game drag. Turn down all game options to use minimum visual resources which can also speed up performance. If none of the above work, try contacting EA Games support.

We bought Sims3 for PC but now someone tell me that we must have bought the Sims and Sims2 then it can be install on the PC. Is that true and if so where can we get install disk to go on.

Sims 3 does not work when i play

did you buy the game or did you just download from a site. if you bought it then it sould be working. If you downloaded it go to the sims 3 website tell them that your game isn't working and tell them what is wrong with the game and see what they will do about it they could even give you a new game. If you bought it either do the same thing or lower the quality of the game if you can even get the game to show up

Make sure you have the original The Sims 2 game, Seasons,Freetime and Apartment Life are just expansion packs to the Original Game. Without the original game the expansions won't work.

If that's not the problem, then make sure they are installed correctly. If you used download m, most likely theyanagerare corrupted.

(Plus just as an extra question, why were you trying to play The Sims 2 a day before The Sims 3 came out, I couldn't sleep.)
