The internal workings of a pneumatic nailer are fairly simple and easy to diagnose problems. If you go to Senco's website at www.senco.com, you can find a breakdown of what parts are where inside your nailer. Remove the four bolts holding the cap on and check the condition of the o-rings inside the gun. They are the most likely failure point for your tool. Senco does make repair kits that contain all the wear items in your nailgun. It will be listed on the parts breakdown and can be bought at most online parts stores or places like eBay and Amazon.

I need to replace the rubber tips on my senco sfn1 nailer and my senco sks stapler. Do you know where I can buy them?

Look for a Senco dealer or tool supply place in the yellow pages or go to senco . com and enter your zip code for your nearest dealer. I found replacements at Hughs tool supply.

I have an older pro 18 serial number is 03c19425. It shoots with out pushing the safety in and not sinking nails. It leaves them about an 1/8 to 1/4 out. What do I do.

The Finish Pro 18 is a very good gun but I wouldn't spend more than $50 to fix it. You can get the newer FIP18mg for around $90 which includes a new warranty. If you really want to repair your gun:
Go to www.senco.com, click on the link 'Parts Charts/Specs/Manuals' at the top, scroll down to the Finish Pro 18 and open the parts guide. You are going to have to find out what parts of the safety element are broken or missing. As for the not driving nails all the way in, you have worn or broken o-rings inside the gun. The parts guide shows you need a Senco repair kit #YK0393. Senco no longer makes this kit but sometimes you can find them online at aftermarket retailers. Just Google or Bing 'Senco YK0393'. If you can't find one you can order all of the required parts from Senco but you have to order each one using part numbers from the parts guide.

I have a Senco pro 35 18 gauge finish nailer been working fine now I just get air when I pull the trigger

could be a jammed nail in the nose/magazine area or a driver problem. is the driver fully retracted or stuck partially down in the nose. UNPLUG the air before checking. If the driver is partially down I would think a jam and fully retracted you might have an issue with the piston/driver assembly.

My Senco SFN1 finish nailer will not shoot a nail. When the trigger is pulled air comes out but no nail is shot. Thanks,Steve L

Not sure about Senco but most have latch you can open to expose firing mechanism. Nail sometimes gets jammed and will not allow driver to fire or if not nail push driver ****** all the way back into gun then see if gun will fire.

Looking for a diagram or schematic for a senco fp18

I have a SENCO FinishPro18 that I inherited from my son when he died a year ago. It has worked fine till now. It does not shoot a nail when depressed against a board and I pull the trigger. I don't hear air leaking, but it seems there is little pressure. Having taken apart the head, then the base, it all seems in good shape. I have not taken apart the trigger assembly, as the removal is a total commitment. Thoughts? I could use some help.

Senco Finishpro18 just stopped shooting nails. Took it apart put it together. Shoots a couple of nails then stops. Press the nailer against the target pull the trigger and air comes out of the handle.

I just had the same problem with mine. Exact same symptoms. My guess is that your gun hasn't been used in a while.

I called Senco and they recommended removing the top cap, removing all o-rings (one at a time) gently stretch them, put a small amount of lithium grease in the o-ring track, and replace the o-rings. This fixed my problem and I hope it fixes yours!

Senco has awesome tech support for their tools. I will not buy another brand because of their support. 800-543-4506
