Finding the fuse that blew

my 2 convergance amps blew and i know where they are to replace but what kind of glue substance do i use to use to stick them too the metal piece?also i have know idea where or what the fuse looks like on the mother board that also blew.can i do this my self?i got a price quote of $200 but looking on line i can get the 2 amps for about $25 and the fuse(s) should be pretty cheap.  thkz
