32" Dynex No Power, Power on/off light will not light up

My 32" Dynex suddenly stopped working. The light in the front that is usually red if it is off or green if it is on no longer lights up at all and there is no way to turn on the tv either with remote or pushing the power button. There was no sudden change to the tv it just ceased to turn on one morning.

Check the power supply module first for blown fuse, bad capacitors, etc.

You can reset the unit by unplugging, wait 30seconds to 1 minute.then try again.

If still doesn't come on, the lightning may have done some internal damage, such as to the power supply or Main PCB.

My Dynex 32" LCD tv seems to turn on and off

The blue light merely indicates that power is getting to your TV. It has internal power supply problems.

If your TV dead after the lightning, then your TV doesn't power ON with red light stays on lit you possibly have faulty main board.

If totally no indicator try to replace the fuse on power supply board if busted or blown (it is usually connected directly from power cord.

If the fuse still blown you need to replace the whole power supply board.

If the item is under warranty return it asp. The problem is in the power supply, the cause is a open capacitor sometimes leaving a bulge at the top.

Look at the power supply first it may be going out; look for burnt parts, bad capacitors, etc. Look for 5vdc, 12vdc, and 24dvc.
